On stage, she has earned critical acclaim with standout performances in Miss Evers' Boys, August Wilson's The Piano Lesson (as Bernice), and in the American Playhouse TV adaption of the iconic A Raisin in the Sun. She also received a Tony nomination for her powerful performance in The Mighty Gents.
