We had a lucky listener come into our arena to play SUPER TOSSERS in honour of Super Bowl! 3 footballs, she chose one and if the dust was PINK she won $$$

Marty Sheargold dropped by to chat through his next venture after his radio career had a bit of a rocky ending last year.

Samantha was with her partner for over 6 years. He constantly monitored her location, expected her home by a certain time, hid her keys so she couldn’t get into the house or drive her car, disputed her credit card charges… and that’s just the beginning. His constant manipulation and control made Sam doubt herself. Sam made many attempts toget help from the police, but the courts kept granting him bail, as well as her ex-partner physically stopping her from attending court hearings.

 

In November 2024, she decided she needed this horrible cycle to end for the sake of herself and their child. She luckily had a detective that fought hard for her, and the ex-partner finally got jail time in 2025. He was the first imprisonment in NSW under coercive control laws.

 

He was imprisoned for 6 months before he got released on house arrest, which he very quickly breached. Karma came and got him when he was caught at the pub by the same detective that put him in prison initially. He is currently back in prison.

It's not every day you get to bring your pirate map looking Squooshy into work! Today was the day, Kyle and all our straight male staff members all did a show and tell on their childhood toys, pillows and blankets! 

We also had on probably the most Aussie duo on Tradie vs Lady today. It really was quite the morning!
