The City of Sand Springs is being sued by a group called "Protect Sand Springs Alliance" claiming the city annexed the property illegally and they are challenging the zoning of the property. The city recently filed motions to dismiss the lawsuits.

Sand Springs moves forward with the proposed data center

Tulsa Firefighters battled a fire at the Sheridan Ponds Apartments in south Tulsa Thursday morning, and, at this time, around 16 units were damaged by the fire. Firefighters were alerted to the apartment fire at 81st and Sheridan just after 8 a.m. When crews arrived, flames were coming through the roof of the building, and smoke could be seen from miles away.
