Guest: Doug Landro | Julian Gibb interviews Doug Landro with One Collective in Ukraine. Doug says, "I lead an alliance called the Transform Uzhhorod Alliance here in Ukraine. It's made up of 14 churches and Christian organizations, plus another 26 local churches, and we all work together. I got on the phone with our different partners, and said, 'Would you open up your place to refugees?' And that's what we've been doing." Doug goes on, "I was once told by a Sunday School teacher in the 5th grade, 'God can steer a moving car'. The lesson he was teaching us young people was just follow Jesus and he will steer you in the direction He wants. That's what happened is that we opened centers, started getting them food and taking care of humanitarian needs. Then medical needs with medical teams, and transportation needs to drive them to their contact on the other side of the border without them getting trafficked." Doug tells many stories in Ukraine, including trauma care, caring for families and single men. Doug says, "We're seeing people coming to Christ, and racism coming down..." www.ukrainecollective.org
