Guest: Rich Griffith | Bob Moffitt speaks with Rich Griffith, Global Development Officer of Global Action and former NFL football player, speaking about being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever God puts him. Rich says that as an athlete in the NFL, "They would see something different in me. They would come to me and ask, "Would you pray for me?"" Money, fame and success were not satisfying. Rich says, "When you speak life into them, they open up."  Rich relates stories of guys he has met with Global Action, like Pedro, who barely had enough food growing up; his mom had to drive him to a neighbor to get food. Yet, Pedro came to faith through a missionary who was sharing compassion, care, and a God who wanted to enter into is pain. And now Pedro walks to 30-40 men who have experienced a similar story. Angela says, "I had no idea I could teach a Good News Club", noting the Supreme Court ruling in 2001 that the clubs have equal access to teach on a school campus just like any other club.  Bob noted that his mother had been attending Biola Institute of Los Angels in 1937, one of very first to be involved in Good News Clubs in a poor neighborhood of LA.  Angela says, "There are over 1 million children in Maricopa County. These children are not churched. We currently have 25 Good News Clubs in Maricopa County"  Angela says, "Our volunteers come with a team of five, and with a background check and screening, we work with the school districts to get a room one day a week throughout the school year." Angela shares several stories of children coming to know Jesus, discipling them, and stories of children inviting other children to hear about Jesus. Children Evangelism Fellowship
