Joining John Maytham is Jeremy Olivier, musician, to share what audiences can expect from this one-of-a-kind performance. Backed by his trusted bandmates — Shaun Johannes on bass and Damian Kamineth on drums — the evening will also feature special guest appearances from his own children, adding a uniquely personal touch. Fans can also look forward to brand-new material, including a debut piano-written track titled “Home” — a fitting reflection of where Jeremy finds himself right now.

The host’s eclectic interests mean the program often surprises the audience with intriguing book reviews and inspiring interviews profiling artists. 

A daily highlight is Rapid Fire, just after 5:30pm. CapeTalk fans call in, to stump the presenter with their general knowledge questions. Another firm favourite is the humorous Thursday crossing with award-winning journalist Rebecca Davis, called “Plan B”.
