To help unpack the outcomes of the meeting and offer perspective from within the taxi industry, Africa Melane is  joined by Makhosandile Tumana, the Public Relations Officer for SANTACO in the Western Cape and spokesperson for CODETA. Tumana has publicly condemned the recent killings and echoed the call for peace, saying the violence “will not solve anything” and that commuters are being left traumatized in the crossfire.
