John Maytham speaks to Gareth Tate, Head of the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s Birds of Prey Programme, a conservation group which aims to improve population trends of threatened birds of prey in southern Africa and improve the conservation status of priority species. Gareth joins us to unpack the scale of the scale of the crisis and what the calculated poisonings mean for the future of wildlife protection in South Africa.
