Karen lives in Tamboerskloof and works as a tourist guide, a role that gives her the privilege of showing off Cape Town’s beauty to visitors from around the world. She shares what Christmas looks like for her and her family — how her European heritage blends with a very local Cape Town summer, and what makes the day meaningful.
