The Ontario NDP are accusing the government of arrogance, hubris, and disdain for women after the government shut down a debate on a bill meant to improve transparency around why so many sexual assault cases have been stayed. It may be disappointing to have a bill go to committee but the move doesn’t show disdain for women or promote misogyny.
