After stopping rent payment on their downtown office building, the Denver Post and the City of Denver has reached a $13.5M settlement for the back rent.  This while Colorado University is buying a downtown hi-rise.  Jeff, Bill, and callers discuss rent, downtown spaces, and how to bring Denver downtown back to what it was decades ago, if possible.  

Why are Sports Betting Platforms donating to both Democrats and Republican primary candidates?  Democrat State Senator Matt Ball joins Jeff and Bill to talk about "Good Will" money coming from betting platforms after he helped pass one of the most restrictive laws covering online sports betting.  Matt makes the case, the betting platforms are greasing the wheels so next time the issue comes up, perhaps those in office will remember the "good will" that helped them get elected.   

The Denver Metro is seeing housing prices fall rapidly.  The area has a 3% decline in value and some areas are seeing a drop as high as 7%.  Jeff, Bill, ands callers ask why this is happening.  Is this good for your property tax bill while being bad for your mortgage value? 

The Denver Post has a three-part series outlining the impact of sports gambling in Colorado since it's legalization in 2020.  Nearly $990M wagered sine that year, and Jeff and Bill ask if that is a good thing. Taxes from sports gambling is helping with water projects but what about the increase in gambling addiction.   

About 800 million illegal cattle enter the US every year through the southern border.  And not they are bringing the New World Screwworm.  It's a parasitic fly, not a worm but there have been more than 2,000 human infections in Mexico.  Now it is in Texas.  Cattle inventories are at a 75-year low.  Are you going to have to pay more for beef at the store?  

Car thefts are down over 50% from their peak a few years ago but Colorado is still #1 in the nation.  WHAT???  Jeff and Bill talk about how the leading candidate for Governor; A.G. Phil Weiser is the same person who talked about letting someone steal 3 cars before law enforcing should get involved.

Over 280,000 primary ballots have been returned in the Colorado Primary.  Brandon Wark, from Free State Colorado joins Jewff and Bill to share some of the more interesting numbers found in the early votes.  So far, unaffiliated Colorado voters are returning twice as many votes in the Democrat primary as they have in the Republican race. There are fewer primary ballots in the GOP race than we have seen in the last two election cycles. What does that tell you?

As Tusli Gabbard is stepping down as Director of National Intelligence she says Dr. Fauci lied under oath to Congress about some of the origins and investigations into COVID..  But Biden has already given him a pre-emptive pardon so what can be done?  Jeff, Bill, and callers discuss the new info and if there will be anyone held accountable.

Bob David is challenging GOP State Representative Anthony Hartsook in the primary because he has heard from many people in the district that Anthony is not conservative enough.  Bob is in studio to outline his background spending 31 years as a Los Angeles Police Officer and what motivated him to run.  He highlights the differences between he and Rep. Hartsook plus talks about protecting the 2nd Amendment, Sanctuary policies and the development of data centers.  

In a Denver Post Editorial, the Colorado Clemency board take issue with Gov. Jared Polis releasing Tina Peters from prison.  Has the same board showed similar concern when Polis granted clemency to other criminals? eff, Bill, and callers debate the reasoning behind the board's complaint.

The Aspen Times has a story about the enormous Super PAC money pouring into Colorado to support one candidate.  A Super PAC supporting Michael Bennet has taken in more money than his campaign and the Weiser campaigned combined.  The Super PAC has taken in more money than all three of the GOP candidates combined too.  Jeff and Bill discuss if the billionaires are buying the Colorado election.

When is immigration a net negative?  After a shocking attack in Northern Ireland where a refugee appeared to try and behead a citizen in the streets of Belfast, Jeff, Bill, and callers debate immigration and the positives or negatives.  In Northern Ireland 85% of their population growth is due to immigrants.  Is that a positive or negative?  

Is the government supposed to solve all your problems?  Is that what so many liberal voters are searching for?  In the wake of the Los Angeles mayor's race Jeff and Bill ask the question, "What is important to voters"?  Is it about large programs to fix your life or something else?  

The Trump administration is concerned the Cherry Creek School district is discriminating against student by using school clubs to segregate the student body.  Jeff and Bill welcome Molly Lamar, Cherry Creek School District Activist to outline the investigation and more.  Cherry Creek Schools have been the subject of a lot of recent questions over leadership and nepotism.  Is this just another symptom of the problems in what used to be the Gold Standard for public education in the state?
