In the tug-of-war between parental rights and student rights, who wins?  Lori Gimelshteyn, Executive Director, Colorado Parent Advocacy Network is in studio to outline a number of ballot initiatives they are working to place on the ballot this fall. One deals with school being directed to always tell a parent if their child has expressed feelings of transgender identity at school.  Another would address biological males in women's sports.  They are looking for volunteers and hoping you will sign their petitions to help.

Moore describes responding to a call involving a man making homicidal and suicidal threats, deploying Cyrus when the suspect ran, and the split-second confrontation that followed. Moore says the actual engagement between him and the suspect lasted less than two seconds. He also talks about his recovery, his family, the support he received from fellow officers and the MC1 Foundation, and why he and Cyrus are this year’s MC1 Honor Run recipients.
