High Density Housing and a Special Election in Lakewood

Gubernatorial candidate and Colorado state Senator, Barb Kirkmeyer has gathered enough signatures to make the primary ballot.  She joins Jeff and Bill to talk about the primary and the strike at the JBS meat packing plant.

Employees at the JBS meat packing plant in Greeley are on strike.  Will this force the closure of the plant?  It's the first meat packing plant strike in 40 years.  Jeff, Bill, and callers discuss the union demands and JBS position on the contract.  Are the employees being unreasonable?  Can JBS afford to pay higher wages?

A Bill in the Colorado Legislature would create new restrictions on Sports Betting.  One of the Bil's sponsors, Rep. Dan Woog and Joshua Ewing, of Healthier Colorado join Jeff and Bill to outline the possible changes.  Restrictions on amount, number of bets placed in a 24-hour cycle, advertising and more are all addressed.  Can we put the toothpaste3 back in the tube?
