James Green on Building a Collaborative Networking Hub at PIEF Geelong

At day one of the PIEF conference in Geelong, Rhea Mercado interviews James Green, Senior Industry Development Manager at Honeysuckle Health, in the Honeysuckle mini huddle networking hub. James explains his idea for the hub as a collaborative space where people from different industry backgrounds can share stories and perspectives, inspired by the Intelligent Rebellion podcast, with discussion topics including AI, retention, and why people enter insurance. He shares his own path from exercise physiology and digital health at Navigator Group into relationship management and industry engagement, motivated by helping people who struggle and creating fair opportunities. James envisions the hub hosting more cross-sector conversations, including challenging ones, to better understand others’ views and drive change through learning, curiosity, collaboration, and adaptability.
