Israel's bombardment of Gaza is now in its second month. More than 10,000 Palestinians, at least four thousand of them children, have been killed.
Public anger is growing around the world. Countries have recalled their ambassadors.  South Africa and Bolivia have severed relations with Tel Aviv. 
But can these diplomatic moves pressure the United States and Israel's other Western allies to push it to at least agree to a humanitarian ceasefire?
