From there, it went from 2-3 to 6000 in English and 6000 in Spanish. That's nothing compared to the gift they are. It's the time in handing them out. People love them. It's so rewarding and I pray for all who receive them.

Fr. John Eckert joins Patrick to discuss St. John Paul II  Who was John Paul II (17:13) Megan - I was fortunate to go to Rome shortly after 9/11. There was a special Mass at the Vatican with JPII. The Mass had widows and widowers from 9/11. Europe was reaching out and consoling America. I was dealing with infertility, got back from the trip and shortly after, conceived our first child. (20:24) Break 1 How did John Pul II help with fear (26:02) Len - I met him 2 times during World Youth Day. Just had a lot of love from him. I call him St. John Paul the Great. He's someone who was part of my life (I'm 73). Beautiful duirng the Terri Schiavo experience. Randy - I was at the Mass in Chicago in '79. I was young and it was very moving. I've never had a more uplifting experience. (33:47) Chuck - I met him and kissed his ring at World Youth Day in 1993. I was blessed to be a sacristan for the Mass. He wanted to meet everyone who was part of the Mass. Looked in his eyes and never felt more love. (38:49) Break 2 (40:56) Peter - The night before he was attacked, I had a dream that the Pope was attacked. I woke up and was horrified. Early on in the morning, they broke the news that he had been attacked. Since then, I've had close ties with him and have experienced several miracles. Barbara - In 1981, we were at his Mass and where he was shot. Got within inches of touching him. (48:48) Sederica - Grew up with him. Remember when he was elected. Were shocked that he wasn't Italian (I'm Italian). When he died, I got married and 6 months later, my husband got cancer. I remember praying to him. Hadn't been beatified yet. Woke up and asked him to save my husband. Offered a job at JPII Shrine in DC and talked about his life to visitors.

Margaret-Mary - Now that I'll be 84 in December, this is the time in my life that I live in a Baptist community in NC. I am very proud of my Catholic faith. I'm professing Catholicism as I reach heaven. I was in religious life for 5 years. Was married and have children. Apologetics scared me. I understand it now and the Holy spirit is guiding me now that I have time to listen to RR and discern my faith.

Katelyn - I did the novena recently for my husband and I. In my childhood home, we had rose bushes. My mom said something one night and asked if someone did the novena. The bushes were covered in roses. We live in Arizona. (22:00) Break 1 What is the Little way of Saint Therese? (30:00) Elly - My experience with St. Therese when my sister passed away. (36:28) Mary - Given a rose from St. Therese. Husband was in an accident. Brain injury. I was praying and saw a vision of 3 roses. Told my friend and she said it was a gift. At work, there was a vase of 3 roses for me from an old friend, Theresa. (41:20) Break 2 Kaleb - I was in the army and in a train. Wanted an answer to a question in my life about marriage. Did the novena to St. Therese. Went to mass on the 9th day. liturgical color was rose. (44:58) Monica - My father diagnosed with cancer...my children were small. Went to pray in another room. Looked out the window and saw a rose in the garden where there was no bush. When he was recovering, found another rose growing there. Took both of them to him. He not only was cured, but came back to the church.

Sometimes people don't know how to handle situations. Somebody hurts me and I don't know how to respond and I might go to somebody looking for advice but that person might twist it and tell somebody else. Nick - I think it's easy for me not to gossip although we're all prone to it. If we start to think of others wrongs, that's a poor judgement. All sin is a sin and we all just need to look in the mirror. That will keep us from gossiping. (32:03) Karen - Financial issue with trustee. Gave her confidential info and she threw it back at me after talking to a neighbor about it. She caused issues and made me look bad. John - I was in a prayer group in a Catholic community. Kind of new. I started to have visions. Lady had an illness, and my wife had been sick and almost died. I recommended an herbal substance. I was accused of being new age and got black balled. None of the members would talk to me after that. One lady said not to worry what others think. Very hard. Now, I'm active in a new Catholic church and member of knights. Asked lady to help me. They took me into ambulance...all was good...ended up in emergency rm. I always think that couple were my angels. (26:22) Kathleen - I felt angel Gabriel saved my sister. A week ago I asked for prayers for sister who was depressed. Relevant Radio prayed for us. Sister was in car accident. Someone asked her if she was OK. He witnessed the whole thing. She blacked out and 911 came. Dealt with brain bleed and now about a week later, she's doing much better. (30:04) Nancy - I was in an accident. Prior to the accident I said a prayer for protection. Everything that should have happened didn't. My husband witnessed a miracle and I avoided flipping over a truck. Hit so hard my handlebars bent together. I lifted off the seat and turned 180 degrees and ended up in a sitting position instead. I believe it was because of angels. (36:57) Randy - Guardian angel voice told me to move out of a fire area in Iraq in 2006. Also, when daughter was 5, we pulled into driveway. She saw a man that was fighting monsters. Got inside and she pointed to statue of St. Michael and she said that's the man. (40:33) Break 2 How are angels higher than human beings if human beings are made in the image of God? (43:04) Fred - Several years ago, involved in occult. I found out I was being spell cast by witches. Asked for the intercession of St. Gabriel. Janette - I had an experience with what I thought was an angel. Went to a retreat with aunt and wanted to say God bless you to someone. I saw an elderly woman standing by a bus stop. All of a sudden she looked up and said 'you will go through many trials, but you will overcome because he has saved the world.' Shortly after, felt a warmth and knew that woman was an angel. She was out of sight after that.
