On today’s show, Fr. Kris Stubna talks about Confession: It’s here to help you.
Break 1
Susan - I was at Confession recently and it was face to face. I confessed, but Father was looking at his phone and scrolling the entire time. I was a little distracted by that and didn't know how to handle it. Could you comment on how to handle that?
Nancy - I am a senior citizen. Recently I've grown in faith and went to confession. It was a visiting priest. He was so gracious and loving. I was expecting the worst, but I truly felt healed.
Miles - Concern I had from a prisoner is that the priest didn't have enough time to hear confessions. Can the bishop give him permission to have a shortened version of the mass and still have time for confessions?
Patrick - I love confession.
Break 2
Joanne - I had an experience on Easter Sunday and someone asked if there were confessions. I asked Father and he immediately went in and heard the man's confession before Mass. It was such a beautiful thing.
Tony - It's changed my life over the years. I used to take it for granted.
Carrie - I learned that the grace received in the sacrament has been such a help in avoiding sin in the future. It's almost like a little Christmas.
