RTÉ chiefs past and present are preparing to grace the halls of Leinster House to appear before the Oireachtas Media Committee as the public broadcaster’s crisis rumbles on. Former RTÉ chair Moya Doherty has said the board did sign off on ‘Toy Show The Musical’, which ended up losing €2.3m, while other board members say the musical was presented as a “fait accompli” and that it was never formally approved.
