Step forward Eoin Hayes, newly-elected Social Democrats TD for Dublin Bay South, who became the center of attention of a chaotic press conference this week when the subject of his personal business dealings came up. So ensued a nightmare 24 hours for the fresh-faced politician who later that evening confirmed that he sold shares from his former employer, which supplies technology to the Israeli military, a month after he was elected to Dublin City Council for a pre-tax figure of €199,000.
