Now, footage has emerged of a confrontation between McArdle and Ms Corcoran’s relatives, in which he literally laughed off the altercation.

Three men, all victims of separate IRA bombings, have taken civil action against the former Sinn Féin leader for the symbolic sum of £1 in damages.
