Hole lovers of community media,

We hope you're doing well out there.

3MDR's annual radiothon has commenced and we invite you to become Radio Active with a 12 month subscription to help 3MDR stay on the air.

It is with heartfelt thanks to you, the listener, that sees the value in community radio 3MDR and subscribes to this program or the station as a whole.

Week one celebrates the Year Of The Volunteer.  3MDR has over 100 volunteers contributing to the weekly operations of the station.  Presenters, committee members, sound engineers, event managers and admin volunteers dedicate hours of their time week in week out.

We appreciate that subscribing to a radio station is an absolute luxury in this day an age of rising housing and living costs.  3MDR offers several subscription options starting from as little as $35 which we hope makes it affordable for you to support independent media.

If you have the means, please head to https://3mdr.com/subscribe/?qtajax=true and subscribe today.

This week we spun tunes for the first two hours of the program.  At 8am we had a good chat with local musican, among other things, Clint Wilson.  Clint joined us over the phone to talk about his music and a couple of gigs coming up, the first being a support for Pinky Beecroft at the Memo in St Kilda on Friday 11th September.   Clint will be teaming up with Zach, the most excellent guitarist for Clint Wilson & The Ruins.

On Saturday 19th September Clint Wilson & The Ruins will feature on a triple bill with Deep Steve and Si & Brown at the Belgrave Hotel.  Free entry!
