Greetings lovers of community radio!

We hope you're faring well out there.

We opened up with some light music, or rather music about light as one of our favourite local events is taking place on Saturday 20th June to mark the winter solstice.   The Belgrave Lantern Parade is the highlight of winter with thousands of festival goers enjoying the cool, crisp mountain air and the passing parade of beautiful light filled lanterns.  A spectacular event bringing the community together on for the longest night of the year.

From bright lights to city streets, we hung around Melbourne for the remainder of the this morning's program.  Soooooo many good songs and we love local references which trigger the memory of places around our home city.  We do love Melbourne and it appears a lot of musicians do too!
