Huge opened the show today by discussing the impact that the Corona virus has had on athletes and their respective sport. He brought up the fact that there has not been one death due to Covid throughout the world of sports - and how we can't keep living in fear when people aren't being hospitalized in critical condition. Breaking away from this - Huge wanted to throw a question out to the Wolverine fans today asking if they're happy with the state of Wolverine football since Harbaugh was hired as head coach. We took your texts, calls on comments throughout the entire show today. In our first hour we were joined by Logan Lamorandier to talk some Detroit Lions Football. Huge and Logan discussed whether they think it's time to tear down the old regime and build new.
In our second hour we wanted to take a look at how Harbaugh and his staff have looked since Jim came to town. We were joined by John Borton to get his initial thoughts on our Huge question of the day and to take a look ahead to how he thinks the Wolverines will handle taking on Wisconsin this weekend. Huge and John also touched briefly on Juwan Howard and the Wolverine basketball team as their season gets closer. We then took a look at the Spartan side of things with our friend Tim Staudt. Tim and Huge also touched briefly on the fact that Tom Izzo has Covid – but seems to be getting through it just fine. To wrap up the hour we saluted our Veterans by giving shout-outs on air.
In our final hour we took a look ahead to the Masters later this week with a couple of our PGA Insiders. First we were joined by Mark Wilson to get his thoughts on who could go home with that coveted green jacket on Sunday. Mark and Huge also talked about some golfers that might need to be on our radar. We were then joined by Rex Hoggard to talk about how the feel of the Masters will be vastly different due to the pandemic. Rex also gave us his thoughts on who see’s taking that green jacket. We wrapped up the show with Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort so he could fill us in on what’s new up in Mt. Pleasant.
