Today, we're broadcasting from the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven as they're wrapping up the third annual Folds of Honor Collegiate Golf Invitational. Throughout the show we were joined by some great guests who are associated with Folds of Honor, American Dunes and the Collegiate Invitational which happened Monday through today of this week. We were also joined by some of our great insiders to talk about the Lions, Tigers, Michigan, Michigan State, and more. We kicked off the show with Mike Payton from A to Z Sports talking about the Lions. He and Huge talked about that win over the Rams, looked ahead to Sunday's game against the Bucs, and more. We were then joined by Jason Benetti who is the TV voice of our Detroit Tigers. He and Huge talked about the massive turnaround that the Tigers have made, discussed only being a few games out of from a wild card game, and much more. We wrapped up the hour with Bill Flohr who is from the Michigan Chapter of Folds of Honor. he and Huge talked about the impact that Folds has had on thousands of lives, talked about how you can get involved, and more. We talked more about the Lions in our second hour as Dan Miller, the voice of the Lions, joined us. He and Huge talked about how the Lions played in the game against the Rams, talked about what strengths and weaknesses they saw, they looked ahead to Tampa Bay, and more. We were then joined by Frank Schwab from Yahoo Sports. He gave us his thoughts on how the Lions looked this past weekend, he and Huge talked about some of the other teams and how they did in week 1, and much more. We were then joined by Luke Sherman who runs the First Responder team for Folds of Honor. Luke filled us in on the number of first responders that Folds has helped, told us why it's important to him, talked about what the anniversary of 9/11 means to him, and more. We talked about Michigan Football in our final hour as the former voice of Michigan Football, Jim Brandstatter, joined us. He gave us his thoughts on that lackluster performance against Texas, gave his thoughts on if this team can turn things around quickly, looked ahead to Arkansas State, and also talked a little about the Lions. We were then joined by Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal to talk about MSU Football. He and Huge talked about how the team looked in that win over Maryland, gave their thoughts on where the team needs improving, previewed their next game against Prairie View, and more. We wrapped up the broadcast with Larry Pfeiffer who is with the Kansas City chapter of Folds of Honor. He told us about how he became connected to Folds, talked about the impact they have across the Country, and more.
