Today we're broadcasting from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant as they're getting ready for their 10th annual Soaring Eagle Open this weekend. Throughout the show, we talked about Michigan Football, the Tigers, and the Detroit Lions as we were joined by some of our great insiders. We kicked off the show getting a Michigan Football update as Chris Balas from theWolverine.com joined us. He and Huge talked about the season starting up in two weeks, Chris updated us on what he's seen in Fall camp, and more. We were then joined by Dave Birkett from the Detroit Free Press to talk about the Lions. He told us what he saw in Training Camp and what stood out, talked about his expectations for tomorrow's game against the Chiefs, and talked about his concerns. We wrapped up the hour with former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal. The Tigers have been making some moves, so we got John's thoughts on why and if it's going to help. We kicked off the second hour talking more about the Lions as Jeremy Reisman from Pride of Detroit joined us. He and Huge talked about the backup QB situation, gave their thoughts on if we should bring another backup kicker in, and gave their opinion on some players that could get cut, and more. We were then joined by John John Maakaron from Sports Illustrated and the Detroit Sports Podcast to talk more Lions. John gave us his opinion on if this Lions team is a Super Bowl team, he and Huge talked about their concerns heading into the season, previewed tomorrow's game against the Chiefs, and much more.
