If you’ve been to any local theatre productions over the past 50 years, chances are you’ve seen Jeff Hockley’s valuable contribution as a director, lighting designer, actor and mentor.

Jeff has put a lifetime of creative experience and study into so many productions. and in the 100th year of The Launceston Players, it's a good time to re-visit Jeff's Hot Seat with Chris Sayer from March 2019.

Paul Richards returns to The Hot Seat to tell us about what he’s been working on in the past 4 years since his last guest spot. Paul talks to Chris Sayer about a diverse range of topics, such as iodine deficiency in Tasmania, and the only ever murder at the LGH (in 1870). And just who was Frank Littler, and why is there a museum at Launceston Church Grammar School with his name?

And then there is Paul's interest in the unique art of making walking sticks.

John’s singing voice has entertained us for many years, and now that he has stepped back from performance, he looks back on his career and some of its many highlights. His wife Julz has lovingly documented her husband’s achievements in well-crafted scrapbooks, that provide some wonderful memories.

There’s plenty to talk about with one of Launceston’s most well-known theatre couples.
