Bruce Potter - former owner of the iconic Royal Oak Hotel in central Launceston.

Adrian talked to Chris Sayer in 2019 about retiring after an interesting and varied international business and international relations career in New Zealand and New South Wales. He became very engaged in local economic and community development activities, including at City Park Radio. As a presenter of classical music, stage and screen, The Hot Seat and various other programs, his voice became familiar to listeners.

Adrian passed away in December 2025, aged 76.

Chris Sayer's guests in The Hot Seat were dynamic couple Noel and Edward Broomhall.  The Broomhalls were well known around Launceston for their volunteering, education and supporting roles. You'll hear about how they met, launched their teaching careers, and devoted their lives to the Bahai faith. They both made vital contributions to City Park Radio and the Northern Tasmanian community.

Sadly Edward passed away in October 2020, and Noel in November 2025.

Clarry Pryor served on the Launceston City Council throughout the 1960s and was Launceston's Mayor between 1965 and 1966. He was also an architect, and he talks about many of his most famous designs, including many well-known churches in Tasmania. He loved to sing and to travel, and had been a part of many community organisations.

Clarry Prior talked with Chris Sayer in 2019, and sadly passed away in February, 2025.
