Irish renewable energy company Amarenco has announced plans to apply for planning permission for a solar project near Cappoquin. I’ll hear more from Managing Director Declan Cullinane.

I’ll also speak to Aedin Hassett, President of Waterford Rotary Club and MD of Browne Fire and Security, about the growth of the company in the past few years.

And Miranda Corcoran of The Art Hand and  Éimhín Ní Conchúir of Sólás na Mara will also join me in studio. They were among a contingent from the Waterford Rural Tourism Network who recently attended an event in Dublin to pitch the area as a tourist destination.
