Running into Seti's on speak today. Let's bring him out, former a nine year NFL veteran third round pick to the Packers, just walking. So now he's doing. Now those are slacks, that's not those.
Aren't warm I'm not He's nice, nice little slacks.
I don't like. I'm not a warm up.
Now warm ups. You didn't play ball, you didn't rip the warm ups? All memes?
N What's what's so funny about that? He likes to see himself as because he goes to the club and can shoot in the cadional.
There you go, there you go.
So do you remember your birthday on Sunday.
By the day, Yes, let me guess.
Let me guess.
Forty forty good ones. Forty goes. I'm getting old man, forty forty good ones. Yep.
So do you remember did you go to the combine?
Yes?
Did you feel it helped you?
Absolutely? In my position? Yeah, because you ran well well, not only ran well. I was a young kid from San Jose State. My story is kind of crazy. I was like the one hundred rated receiver coming out of college, which is absolutely crazy. I got invited to the combine a couple of days before. So when I went to the combine, I'm like, I can't wait to show y'all what I got. I can't wait, I was all. I was all about competing, and I wanted to show them what I got. So, yeah, I went there. I ran four or five, did twenty two on the bench press. I killed on the field.
Orge's the best receiver that you looked at and thought, Okay, he's better than me right now. Calvin, Well, Calvin was better than a lot of them.
Yeah. But other than that, I mean I just looked at Calvin, I'm like, this dude is huge. He ran four to three. I already been watching his tape. He's phenomenal. But all the other dudes that were there, I'm like, they're not better than me. You know that That's just that's just how it felt. They're not better than me. The Dwayne Bows, the Robert Meacham's, the Buster Davis Is, all those that dudes that were there that we never felt down. The Ted Gins after the receiver spot, I'm like, they're not better than me.
Yeah, Ted was a great return. Actually ended up being an Ohio State guy. So when when you hear about JJ McCarthy flying up the boards, rumors travel fast. Did you know coming out of the Combine from conversations, did the NFL guys go, yeah, we're drafting you.
No they didn't know nobody, No, no, they they I mean it was more of we like you, you know, you had a really good pro day. We we've seen your tape, you know what I mean. We we got you on our draft wards and all that type stuff. But not like we're gonna take you. No that that that I mean. All you do is to be honest with Never I never talked to the Green Bay Packers at the Combine. Not one time I talked to the Atlanta Falcons a lot, and I'm like, I came out of Combin telling my people, I'm going to the Falcons, Like I know that for sure. Every time the Falcons is on the clock, get your phones ready and all that type of stuff that might be us. I never talked to the Green Bay Packers.
So yesterday Michael Pennox ran who he ran as a quarterback. I don't even know if quarterbacks run and ran well like like like a receiver, like a perimeter receiver a little bit right, right, So I think it helps him.
One hundred percent, right, number one, as we sit here, just take his protey out of the way. We know we can truly sit here and say that he's arguably the best passer in the draft, you know, especially in the pocket. Obviously the off schedule throws and all that type stuff. Out of the pocket you get at the caleb. But inside the pocket, this due it is phenomenal. Right, So coming in, we all knew Pinnix in the pocket is a really good quarterbacks going to be a really good quarterback in the league. And now he just showed you that. I have the Patrick Mahomes, I have the Joe Burrow I have the Aaron Rodgers in his prime. I have the Russell Wilson to where I'm not. I don't want to run, but if I have to, Okay, so we'll get out of it.
Let me give you the last two quarterbacks that did this, Herbert and c J. Stroud. We didn't think they ran either. And then Herbert last game from Oregon against the Badgers and c J. Stroud against Georgia and we all went exactly So I mean to me when you have I never at Ohio State thought c J. Stroud was mobile, no doubt because he so. I honestly watched this yesterday and I thought, oh he may move up ten spots.
Yeah, and even Pinnis When you watch Pinnix play the game, Washington's offense was so good. The ball came out his hands extremely fast. He knew exactly where he wanted to go with the ball. But this just showed me that he has the ability to make those offscripted plays if he has to. If he gets to one of these teams that does not have an offensive line like washing him, maybe he's not running the offense to wear. The ball is coming out of your hands extremely fast. I can't create. I am mobile enough to create, and don't forget. Before his injuries at Indiana, he used to run. He used to get out of here. So I think this helps this man tremendously jumping up them draft boards.
Also, Deshaun Watson has two ACL surgeries. He got a guaranteed deal and burrows hurt every year. And he's fine moving around. He's moving around, just fine.
Joe fine moving around.
Everything now is so different than a decade ago. The surgeries are all cleaner in the last I would say two years, maybe three almost as a rule, if they say you're out eight weeks, you're ready to play in five.
No doubt, no doubt that. The technology and everything they got going on now, you know, really, no matter what you do, you see people coming off of acls faster's Achilles, fasters, Hams faster. Everything is starting to become faster. That used to be six to eight weeks. Now it's four weeks. Now it's two weeks.
Okay, So Marvin Harrison and his dad was quirky. He's not talking, he's not doing combine, he not doing anything. Receivers are just different. You guys are all. I mean, you acknowledge that all you do is he kit cats and snickers and you run a four to three. You admit it so like you've never done a setup for a burpie in your life, and you're ripped up. So go back to again, when you were getting drafted, did you notice guys that were a little quirky, a little different, And did you play with guys because the receiver is almost the NBA player, there's.
No doubt about it that you play with guys that are like this. But for me, I don't like this at all. I truly don't. And the main reason I don't like it is because I'm a competitor and I understand this man is in a great situation right turn the tape on. I'm not gonna do anything. But there's been a lot of dudes like that. Calvin Johnson was like that, and if we really keeping it a hunter, Calvin Johnson was better than you in college. Calvin Johnson had a PROD. You know, it's a lot of dudes that have your talent, if not better talent, that still did the pro to show these scouts that what y'all see on film that ain't nothing. Watch when y'all see me out here at my pro day, and I'm cool with you not working out at the combine, But for me, where's the competitive nature? Like if I would have seen Elik Neighbors the way Mylite Neighbors PRODA was, I'm calling my agent like even if my prod passed and my pro coming up, Like, I'm finna show these dudes that Milik Neighbors ain't got nothing on me. That's just that's just the competitor in me. I don't like these dudes nowadays. Man, Just you know, I'm not doing nothing. I mean, the number one picking the draft worked out at his pro da. You know, like you know you're not gonna You're not gonna show nothing. And I understand, like I said, you are a really good receiver. You're probably gonna be the first receiver off the board. But show us that you got a little competitive now.
Now the Raiders you work on. The Raiders brought thirteenth pick is interesting because nothing against his first year, but they got to find their quarterback. They thought they had it in Derek Carr. The only time they've had it Kenny Stabler. Was it for a long time, you know, Jim Plunkett for a while, was it Rich Gannon. But by and large the Raiders have been in a quarterback deficit that there.
Carr was the most consistent one they had in a long time.
Not a lot of winning seasons. Ye, So my take is, you got to get a quarterback. Do you foresee them moving upper back where? Because they're not going to get Caleb, They're not going to get Drake Man.
I mean to be honest with you, I think they're really good where they are, because how much better do we think Drake May and JJ McCarthy and Jadeen Daniels is better than Pinnix? Like, like, what's the gap? Is it?
This? Is it?
This?
I don't think one of.
Those dudes is falling to you. One of them is going to fall to you, Right, It's a lot of other teams that need other stuff after those first three, it's another team that trades up in there. But either way, if it's another team that trades up, one of them quarterbacks is going to fall to you at thirteen. So for me, unless you are sitting in this in your war room, are you watching tape right now and you're like, we really really really love Jaden Daniels. We know exactly the offense we want to run with him, We want to plug him in our offense. Like you just fell in love with a dude, then trade up and go get your guy. But if you're like, hey, JJ's here, Pennix here, Daniels here, they all around the same one of those dudes, Yeah, it's going to fall to you. In my humble opinion, I don't think it's no. You don't have to risk nothing in trading up to try to go chase a quarterback.
That's the vibe you get with the Raider.
That's the vibe I want them to have.
Now here's an interesting one. Jamak threw this out the other day. He said, Davante Adams has squawked a little huge value. He's a dominant number one to me, second third best receiver in the league. And you're bringing a new quarterback in demanding rec you may be better off. You just need players, Yeah, you need players.
You can't trade die though.
Okay, so tell Jack why not.
The number The number one reason you cannot trade Davonte Adams Because if you do bring in a young quarterback, Davonte Adams is his best friend. And what I mean by that is there's very few receivers that create separation, like Justin Jefferson, Davonte Adams, Keenan Allen. It's the reason why he have one hundred plus catches of year. It's not because this quarterback got this great arm. It's because he creates separation immediately. When we see Dak Prescott have his best years, he had Amari Cooper who creates separation immediately.
Also, a lot of these veterans everybody plays a zone now. A lot of these veteran guys Puka did this as around. They manipulate zone.
No, they're always, no question, but you need a guy like Davonte Adams to where you know he's open right You're you're not an Aaron Rodgers, You're not a Patty Mahomes to where the Dvante Adams got a defender right on him, and you're putting the ball in certain spots as a rookie, it's too much going on. You need to know a guy has won right now, and that's what Davonte Adams brings. So if you are even gonna think about trading up for a young guy, you can't let a guy like Davonte Adams walk out of the building and you're like, Okay, I'm gonna bring in a rookie or some of these other receivers who's they hair gonna be on fire because they gonna look at the defense, gotta read the defense. Then they gonna turn around and they gonna see Jayalen Ramsey press coverage on them, you know. And then now you're thinking about that, and then you still gotta worry about getting open. And then not only that, you got a young quarterback to Oh my goodness, they bringing this blitz and that blitzing. Now he's worried about all that. It's not gonna work. I would love for them to keep Deavonte because he is going to be that quarterback's best friend.

Okay, so, years ago, quarterbacks kind of felt all the same, big guy, tall, guy in the pocket. Now they're small, some work outside the pocket, some big. They're different, and I think it's great. Kyler Murray and Josh Allen look like two different sports. Love them both and so same with personality. Kyler Murray is a gamer Kyler Murray's quiet. Aaron Rodgers is single, wealthy of his own dude. Brady was more corporate, panting. Peyton Manning was more corporate. And so here you have Kayleb Williams. He's painting his fingernails and and and he said, my mom did that years ago, and I didn't do it. It doesn't he jumped into the stands with his mom. We've seen stuff in his nails, the pink phone. I don't care. I do think now there there are you can there are two things can be true. I do want after games and at the podium for a quarterback to be very dack like, diffuse drama, quiet, the noise, those big moments fifteen minutes twice a week. I need a grown up yep. I don't give a rip who you date when you wear So how did that land for you when you heard people were bummed by outrage by it.
You hit it right on the nose, because at the end of the day, right, you're coming into the National Football League and all you have to do is put your head down and work. You are the franchise quarterback, right, you have the keys to the ship. Don't come in here on Hollywood, like it's my way, this way. Put your head down and work. At the end of the day, you're still a rookie. Put your head down and work. When you get out here, you make plays. That's all them dudes in this locker room's gonna care about. We got us one. They don't care what your nails look like, they don't care what color your phone is. Bruh's gonna help us win games. And we see that out here on the practice field. But the biggest thing, like you said, is when you step up to this podium, because you can't step up to this podium as the Chicago Bears quarterback. And after you just lost or might have had a game whatever, it was, not only blame. People say I want to go home and hold my dog, hold on bro, like we just lost. Like, you need to get up here and you need to say the right stuff because that's how you went over a locker room too. I tell my young quarterbacks now, I don't care if you make a great throw, it's your fault. You're the quarterback. That's the mindset that I put into my young quarterbacks that I coach. Right now, we've seen them drop it. We seen that it was a dot every we seen. The whole crowd say, oh, we've seen all that. But at the end of the day, I want you to understand you're the leader of this team. So if you patch your chest, you know how much more these dudes not in this little league gonna respect you. And I've been in the NFL locker rooms. When you pat your chest, that's my bad as a quarterback. As a leader, you earn so much respect from the dudes in the locker room, you know what I mean. My first my rookie year, true story, my rookie year. I'm starting my first two games because Greg Jenny's had got hurt. Sorry, I'm out there with Brett obviously. You know I'm a rookie running around with my head cut off. I have two ms in the game, mister Simons, where I run the wrong route and Brett Farves looking at me right, and he ends up scrambling and throwing the ball to Donald Driver. Right. We get in the meeting. Coach is chewing me out in the team meeting. And this is with the offense and the defense. He is chewing me out. If you don't know what you're doing, you are not gonna play We don't care about your talent. We don't care about none of that. And Brett said, hold on, Coach, I told him to do that. No he didn't. But Brett stood up in that meeting and said, Coach, I told him to run those routes. And my coach was like, man, if he told you to run those routes, you gotta let me know that, so I don't write him down a zim. And I'm just sitting back like this dude is a real dude. Like and the respect I have for Brett right then and there, you know what I'm saying. And then obviously he already had the locker room he as the leaders. But when I was telling guys Brett live for me, they was like for real, you know what. And it's just like that's why he's the leader of our team. Just little stuff like that, like pat your chest first, you know what I mean. And I never looked at Breath to say no more. Red couldn't do nothing, could yell at me. He could throw the ball at me after the playoff that time. Whole he the leader, he ar dog, he got my back, you know what I'm saying. So you know you got to make sure you walk into the locker room. That's the type of dude you are.
It's saying when j Max screws up, I go to bosses say it's my fault.
That's it.
I'm like far Man and always for That's why good to see anybody. He's on to speak today, J Mack with the news.
No, no, turn on the news.
This is the right upstairs.
Make sure they know.
You're always looking out for me. What was the last screw up?
I can't remember.
Probably twenty twenty three. Sometimes Jesus love it. I mean he watches, he knows what's up.
By the way, true the cost question. When you screwed that up and took the landmine for you? Did you ever miss an assignment again with him?
I did because I was a rookie running around with my head cut off. But just that right then and there was just I'm just like man runs for life. He didn't have to do that. He could have this dude is a young player. He need to know where he's supposed to be. He need to do his job. All that. A lot of quarterbacks is like that, Man, do your job. I'm looking for you. You running the wrong route. He could have been said all that. He's like, nah, I told him to do that, all right, I got do.
Your job, though, job came.
Let's start with Brandon Ayuk. Listen, he keeps making headlines.
John Lynch made it clear that Ayuk is unavailable and negotiations are ongoing.
Chad Ocho Sinko believes Ayuk deserves.
Thirty to thirty two million dollars a year, what to which Auk replied, I'm just trying to get what I deserve. Colin, Listen, We've gone back and forth over this a lot. I'm sorry you can't pay Ayuk thirty to thirty two.
Well, again, this is the value of brock Purty being free. So I think this team is. I think they've peaked. I think this is what they are. And they're gonna pay. They're gonna give an extension, but they're paying McCaffrey and Trent and Debo and Kittley. You can't. You're gonna pay. On the other end, you're gonna have to get a little rid of linebackers, safeties, corners, Ed Rusher.
Who's the easiest of those big guys to replace Trent Williams left tackle.
I don't think I.
Love George Kittle, but I would go find I would first because I think tight ends age quickly because they get beat up blocking. So I don't have a problem paying two receivers if they're different receivers. Deebo and I are different players. I am absolutely paying McCaffrey and Trent Williams. I would probably move off one of their linebackers, not Warner the other although he didn't have value now because it's an injury. And I would probably move off Kittle, not that I don't like him, but old tight ends, they don't age particularly well. Grunk got old fast.
Aren't you worried about a guy chirping about get me money? I did trying to get what I say, and then you pay him, and then what is he gonna see?
Is he gonna keep grinding on?
I don't know. I'm under the belief that you can move Brandon Nyuk and you can get he is a bona fide top five receivers.
Where you tag him and then you let him go.
I mean you tag him. He may not a lot of these guys don't like to be tagged.
They don't like to be taxed.
If I agree to do it, negotiations but they don't like it.
But when it comes to replaceable, I don't think debo. You could find a Swiss Army knife to the level of debo. We know Christian McCaffrey's elite. We like Ayuk.
I think you can find it a look in this quarterback.
The two guys where there is literally a correlation, Trent Williams and McCaffrey don't play. They don't win this month. So Shanahan's record without Christian McCaffrey starting a sub five hundred, barely but sub five hundred. So the two most valuable guys are McCaffrey for the run scheme and Trent Williams. Both are putting in a lot of work. So that that's and they've missed on a couple of third round running back picks.
Yeah, haven't quite panned out. Tough, tough to hit him.
Let's go to the NBA breaking ish news in that Joel Embiid, who has been out since January thirtieth with the left knee injury suffering against the Warriors, he may return this weekend.
He is with the Sixers on the road trip.
Unclear if he's going to actually play this weekend, but Apparently there's chatter that he's traveling with the team and Joel Embiid could return before the end of the season. That could dramatically change the playoffs in the East, because instantly, I.
Think you and I are out of the Bucks.
I think the Sixers probably become the second biggest threat in the East. If Joel Embiid comes back and he gets like a week to get ramped up, they're probably the second best team in the East, right, I mean caves Donovan Mitchell fin out forever.
I don't think he've just come back in.
I don't think he gets ten days to Don't you think there.
Is a second best team in the East. It's just the gap is too just there's a one and then a bunch of teams.
Well, look at the record with Himbiid twenty six and eight. He goes out, they fall off a cliff.
Your boy to buy.
Harris could not come through, Sorry, Tyrese Maxey could not come through, Sorry Colin.
They they're very The Warriors are very reliant on staff, The Sixers are very reliant on mb The Bucks are very reliant on Giannis. Celtics aren't necessarily relying on.
Tatum comes back to Tatum. All right, here's the final story of the day.
So Donovan Mitchell, I keep saying, Donovan Mitchell Lakers, Donovan Mitchell Nicks. A lot of people are talking about it, his free agency potentially, and in addition, he might just tell the Cats trade me.
I'm out.
Well, according to Calves owner Dan Gilbert, he is confident that Donovan Mitchell will be signing an extension. I can't believe Dan Gilbert said this. We think he will extend. I think if you listen to him talk, he loves the city. Now we know Dan Gilbert what happened with him and Lebron. For Dan Gilbert to put this out there before Mitchell comes back from injury, you know Mitchell is going to get peppered with questions about it and Colin this is setting up.
Listen, Dan Gilbert's been through a lot his son.
I don't love the vibes in Cleveland right now, and if I'm the Lakers from the Knicks, I'm keeping an eye.
I love this city. You really think he loves Cleveland.
He's been there for like nine minutes. I think I don't even know if he's unpacked.
Where does where is Cleveland? I'm not trying to be a cheap shot guy. Where does Cleveland rank and NBA cities twenty fourth? That little guys like Dallas, Phoenix, LA, Miami, Miami, guys like New York, Orlando or Cleveland, Orlando, no state tax. My kids and my wife when I'm gone can go to.
Dagon family there. It's it's really hot in the summer, like oppressively hot.
The NBA is not a summer lead.
I know you're not there, You're in LA.
Players love Houston, they love Atlanta.
So if the Cat go out in the first round, I think Mitchell probably says, hey, guys, thank you for your out trade me, and it gets ugly for Gilbert, and I think.
I think I'm not you know, by the way, I'm not trying to take shots here. But it's a winter league and in Minnesota and Cleveland are not at the top.
Remember Daan Lillard a week ago is like, Hey, I'm not having fun in Milwaukee.
I'm playing sitting around playing video.
And by the way, I think Milwaukee I would take it over Cleveland. Milwaukee's actually got is pretty clever, kind of fun, cool young vibe to it. Milwaukee. It does.
I've never been.
No, I have.
My daughter spent two weeks in Milwaukee and she was like, Dad, it reminds me of Portland. Huh, I'll take food.
You are moster Middle America, so I'll have to take it with people.
In Middle America. I turned down opportunities to be Grand Marshall of Midwestern parades regularly.

Well. Jmack draft Kings came out with over underwin totals. They're called futures, and you and I both love attacking those. They're fun. They're the long play. It's like a little bit like fantasy football. You put some money in you you have to sit around and wait. So we play a game the former newspaper guy where he predicts tomorrow's headlines that we're gonna do it based on DraftKings over undertotals. You ready to go? I am tomorrow's headlines today, Chargers over under eight and a half wins. What say?
I've flip flopped on this from the beginning, but I'll say say this new head coach, new OC, new DC, a lot of newness. The headline will be RV there Yet Jim runs right over nine wins, Colin.
I looked this up as crazy.
They're gonna have five new starters on offense, five new starters on defense.
Jason, what are you doing?
This is great?
There's too much newness. I trust Jim Harball, Colin.
I'm just telling you marry Harball and Greg Roman, who worked together, he's the new OC. Work together great in San Francisco with Justin Herbert, and what Harball did at Michigan turning that program around Colin.
I like this Chargers team. There is some trepidation.
Five starters on defense are gone, five on offense gone a lot, like two top two receivers.
Out, tight end out, Eckler out. How are they gonna replace that?
I just I put all my trust in Harball and Herbert and if you'll see a theme on the over unders, I'm trusting coaching moves editiontionally and subtractionally. That's where I'm targeting because I think the market's kind of missing out on coach coaches values.
All Right, Tomorrow's headlines today, Draft Kings has the Seahawks at seven and a half wins.
We've done a lot of talk Seahawks maybe quarterback in the draft. They need one unless it's Howell and Gino Smith. The headline will the twelfth manhole Seahawks found in NFC. Basically, you're starting to sway me with your La Rams talk. I don't think San Frans regressing. I think the Rams are gonna be good, and I think Arizona's on the uptick too. The Seahawks are the team to watch, perhaps struggling and falling back. You got a new head coach, new offensive coordinator, new defensive coordinator, and the way they're talking about Howell almost feels like we might have a quarterback controversy in Seattle. Come in the preseason with Howell versus Gino Smith. You don't have a quarterback, you're in deep trouble. I like the roster.
I just think there could be a lot of turnover when we see the new coaching staff come in. So I like the under on the Seahawks.
Toorrow's headlines today, NFC South Buccaneers, the Bucks and Baker eight and a half wins feels a little high to me.
Yeah, you know people are gonna complain a lot of ugly teams. Jay, we're the superstars. Well you know Baker Mayfield superstar.
The headline will be Tampa a stamp, but go low after Baker inks deal.
This is not a shot at Baker Mayfield.
It's more about Canalis, who I thought was the brains of the operation there. No Breaker had a really good season because of Canalis. Now he's gone to Carolina, who we may.
Talk about shortly. Tampa returns a lot on the offense.
You'll see a lot of the Mike Evans is back god wins back like, oh, the running back were Shot White who had a really good season. Jason, why can't they compete? Look at the division, Colin, the Saints, they finally made a move on offense. They're they're gonna be better than nine wins, and we know the Falcons are gonna be improved. I think there's a tough division. I see we see a little pullback. You see the number for Tampa. I think they go under here.
Yeah, I think I think they could lose Atlanta twice. That's the first last year they were better than Atlanta this year. I don't think they are tomorrow's headlines today the Panthers, Ugh Draft Kings has them at four and a half wins. You have a strong feeling.
Nobody wants to talk about Carolina. I mean, quietly, look at what they've done this offseason. The headline will be dollar Dave club Canalis gets Caps out of a hairy situation.
Look at the shaving crew. I'm a buyer in Dallas. I like what he's done.
And Colin four and a half wins A you kid, that feels criminally low. They add Deontay Johnson, who we like a lot from Pittsburgh. As long as he's not you know, going sideways into the locker room, that's a huge upgrade.
As the number one receiver, he can get open all day. Obviously, offensive line was not great last year. They bolstered the interior.
If a Quanu the left tackle can just play fifty percent better, they are much better offensively now.
Defense, they did lose Burns, they lost two other good linebackers.
They'll probably regrets. The defense kept them in games last year. The offense just could do nothing. Listen, we both would agree. Bryce young coming out was a big time process.
They gonna fix him.
He can't be worse than he was last year. That was rock bottom. It can only get better. I think he's probably a six win team. I think over four and a half fields, kind of like a lake.
No.
I think if Canalis is as good as people say, first of all, you gotta save Bryce. You don't want to go back. So if you can least make Bryce for the rest of his contract, you don't have to extend him. Can I get two to three years. He's in the eight nine win category. He's productive that if I have to move him. Tomorrow's headlines today the Giants without Satuan DraftKings has their over underwin total at six and a half.
I feel like I need to preface all Giant segments with I am a Jets fan. Just for the record, the headline for the New York Giants will be Quan with the wind Giant spiral after.
Breakup Colin the splits don't lie.
Daniel Jones within without Saquon Barkley is dramatically a worst quarterback.
No, and I'm sorry.
I think Devin Singletary is projected to be their top guy. Like he was an okay running back change of pace guy in Houston.
He ain't gonna be the dude in New York.
The receivers and we'll see if they upgrade in the draft. I know they got Burns defensively, and he's gonna help. They're gonna have a good pass rush. Hella good, Thibodeau, we like a lot. Burns is very good.
I just look at the division.
I see sure Dallas may come back a little, Philly's still gonna be good. But Washington, I think, is the team to watch, and I think the Giants are in the basement again.
I think you can like.
Brian Dable and also think that Daniel Jones ain't the guy, and even if Drew Locke comes in, we know he's done thing well.
We're also seeing the NFC is going to be This is unquestionable. The NFC is going to be better. So Atlanta is going to be better, Green Bay Detroiter Young gonna be better. The Rams have eleven picks and made the playoffs. I'm with you on this. I think Arizona is gonna hit I really do.
Agan in last year had one of the quiet better coaching jobs Toronto Lake.
You they were competitive in a lot of games.
A competit had no depth and so they weren't wrapping.
Up downs quarterbacks and stuff Like Gannon and Arizona, They're gonna be frisky. I'm not saying playoffs or wild card or anything, but like I think the Giants could be the worst or second worst team in the NFC.
I don't know.
Hear that Daniel Jones led them to the playoffs.
Saquon was spectacular well and also they basically got to play the Vikings twice. At the time that was the worst defense in the league, so that Daniel looked pretty good. Take out those two Viking games in his career. Look at those numbers. It's it's not it and they're really in what they are now is they You know, there's this argument, I mean, outside of one or two teams at the top that need a quarterback, everybody. I think New England you could argue should just trade down, fix this roster, and then next year go get the best free agent quarterback.
Just give just give the best free agent quarterback.
You know what I mean.
It's like Atlanta sat around and said, we tried the young route. Half of these guys don't work. Let's get Kirk Pittsburgh, try the young roote. Didn't work, Let's get Russell. I mean you can say they.
Were a little fortunate, like those guys a year out were not projected to hit the market.
Well, there's always gonna be one or two guys that hit the market. I mean my take on this is if Dak, I think the Cowboys regress, I think Dak could be on the market, and I think Dak in New England works. Again, you trade that number three pick down.
Why does Dak work in New England?
He'll be the adult on a super young roster, and you know, I mean, you're getting a grown up who can again. Dak is a durable guy, an adult in the room. If New England traded down, get to a plethora of picks, gets faster offensive. I don't think any young quarterback, any of them, even Caleb Williams, is not working in New England. I mean, we look at the Bears and have questions. Look at Chicago's offensive talent to New England. I think Chicago starts nine guys to New England's two. Offensively, Chicago now has got dudes everywhere running back, tight in, O line, receiver.
Yeah.
I mean, if you give Jayden Daniels, Keenan Allen and DJ.
And those two tighter cooking, you're cooking all right. Done for the week. Zags Purdue tonight. Can't wait.
It's the hurt
