I'm not writing them off as a Western Conference contender. I think the top two teams in the West are Oklahoma City and Denver, and I would throw the Lakers in there as maybe that third top contender because the other guys are young. Houston I think is just too young, Memphis is very good, very talented, great offense and some defense, but they might be a tad bit too immature and young as well. And then you got teams like the Clippers. So the Lakers have a shot, but they're still working out. You mentioned the defense last night. Now, their defense over the past month had been great, and that was not all Anthony Davis. He like their last eleven games, they were the best defense in the league, and Anthony Davis only played five of those games. Dorian Finney Smith was helping a lot Gabe Vincent, who was injured most of the last season. Look, when Jackson Hayes is a critical piece, that might spell trouble for you. But when Jackson Hayes went out the first quarter, that was their size and alex Lynn just wasn't ready to play well. And so their lack of size is huge defensively. Let's see, because like I said, they've been a good defensive team recently, last night they went back to being poor. We'll see what they do going forward. And offensively, Colin. Luca has been off the ball a lot, and Luca needs to be on the ball now. He has to improve in terms of moving the basketball quickly, not just dominating it, and also moving without the ball. But if you want the Luca who's the MVP candidate, then you better put the ball in his hands.

I'm not writing them off as a Western Conference contender. I think the top two teams in the West are Oklahoma City and Denver, and I would throw the Lakers in there as maybe that third top contender because the other guys are young. Houston I think is just too young, Memphis is very good, very talented, great offense and some defense, but they might be a tad bit too immature and young as well. And then you got teams like the Clippers. So the Lakers have a shot, but they're still working out. You mentioned the defense last night. Now, their defense over the past month had been great, and that was not all Anthony Davis. He like their last eleven games, they were the best defense in the league, and Anthony Davis only played five of those games. Dorian Finney Smith was helping a lot Gabe Vincent, who was injured most of the last season.
