It's the Herd wherever you may be, however you may be listening iHeartRadio, Fox Sports Radio right here FS one, one hour from now. Where Colin was right, Where Colin was wrong? Followed by the Hall of Fame football coach Jimmy Johnson. J mac is joining me today from the United States bench national team to college football to a hack slate. Got a little Bengals chief slow preview you potentially at the AFC Championship. Little melancholy Monday. You know, the Jets going down, but the football was very, very good yesterday. Come it's very good. So let's start with this. It is much much easier to be the hunter than the hunted, and that's what Kansas City is now, and it's been a couple of years. Now, Kansas City gets every team's best shot, they get every coaching staff's best game plan. Kansas City is the NFL's most hunted. They've got the ring and Mahomes and Andy Reid and the networks love them and they get the attention. Some of their best players have gotten the bag, and now everybody's gonna pick, pick pick. You're gonna spend the offseason if you're Cincinnati and Buffalo, copying some of their offensive genius, and you'll spend the offseason defensively drafting and acquiring people that can make their life more miserable. And in both Buffalo and Cincinnati's case, you have star quarterbacks with lots and lots of really good weapons and emerging running games to keep Mahomes off the field. They are the standard now the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL, and Cincinnati and Buffalo have the quarterbacks to go toe to toe. And the Chiefs, we told you this when they lost Tyreek Hill. We said they'll still score a bunch of points and they'll still be very productive, but they will miss his lightning. They will not score as quickly. They will not be able to come from twenty four nothing or seventeen nothing down. And Cincinnati and Buffalo now know it. Go look at the first downs last night. Bengals have twenty six Kansas City just twenty fifteen passing first downs for the Bengals, eleven for the Chiefs. The Bengals get into the red zone seven times, Kansas City just four. Bengals averaging eight and a half yards of play pass play Kansas City only seven. It's just inches, this much, that much, that speed that you can't duplicate on the market. We never questioned whether Kansas City would be smart and brilliant and win and be productive. But they miss Tyreek Hill's lightning. They feel like a heavyweight fighter that doesn't quite have the knockout punch they used to. Can't claw back after being beaten in the early rounds like they used to. Instead of Travis Kelsey being the two to Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelsey is now the one to Marquees Valdez, Scandling and Jujus miss Schuster. It is not the same even in New England's dynasty. As great as the New England Dynasty was and it was great. They had a ten year drought and near to needed a weird Seahawks play call throwing at the one and a half yard line to get that Super Bowl. But now you've got Buffalo's got Josh Allen and weapons, and Cincinnatis got Joe Burrow and weapons. And what's impressive about both those teams and scary if you're the Chiefs, is now they've got running games. Single Tarry for the Bills, the two headed running game eventually for the Bengals. Both can keep Mahomes off the field? Is Burrow the MVP of the league. When I bought into the Bengals earlier this year, I said, don't sell your stock. I don't care they lost the Super Bowl. I don't care that Burrow had surgery. Once the run game emerges, they are built to beat the Chiefs more than Buffalo. They're built to beat the Chiefs because I think they're better situationally than Buffalo, because I think Burrows a more accurate thrower, easier to get third downs, long game, mid game, short game than Josh Allen. Here was Zach Taylor head to the Bengals after if he's got an MVP at quarterback. You feel like he's playing, absolutely, absolutely, he's playing at the level we need for him to lead us, to be confident that we can go win every game we play. And uh, you know, so whatever those conversations, you're like, there's no doubt. I've said it before. I wouldn't trade him for anybody in the world. What's interesting about Burrow is about a month ago, I said, Joe Burrow has entered the realm of Mahomes and Allen. We now have three great quarterbacks in the league. Mahomes, Alan and Burrow. All three are in their athletic prime. All three can move, all three have requisite arms. Mahomes maybe the raw talent, Alan the physical specimen. But does anybody in critical situations throw the football more accurately and to the right person more often than Joe Burrow? I think not. Here it was Joe talking about the m v P potential. It is what it is. You know. I don't play the game for those kind of accolades, But I play the game for those guys in the locker room. And you know, I've always said whatever it takes out of me every Sunday, that's what I'm gonna do. I could hand the ball off seventy two times and come out with a win. I'm going to be happy to much much easier to be the hunter or Cincinnati than the hunted. Kansas City. Wouldn't be shocked if they meet again in the AFC Championship. All right, So the Cowboys one fifty four nineteen, everybody in the media gonna lavish them with praise. Listen, the Cowboys are always their best playing the week or the weekend. And here came the Colts with an old immobile quarterback, controversy in the organization, an interim head coach. They were a beach ball and the Cowboys were a pit bowl ready to pounce on it. Do you still trust my McCarthy situationally in the playoffs or for Dack to have a nine play drive trailing overcoming a pass rush. I don't. But if you walk into Dallas a little wobbly, they'll knock you out. They got six seven elite players. They will play downhill. But for three quarters, didn't you ask yourself? Two and a half hours, didn't you ask yourself? Cults are bad, they're on the road. How is this came close? Dallas? To me is the classic schoolyard bully. They seize on the week and terrified. But when they face top quarterbacks, when they face real pass rushes, when they face playoff teams or have to go on the road, and the margins shrink. That is when I don't trust Dallas. I just don't. I know I'm supposed to, but I don't. December and January football gets cold and tight and uncomfortable, and coaching matters more, and quarterback play matters more. Right now, I feel like there are four teams in this league feel different. Cincinnati, Buffalo, Kansas City, and Philadelphia they feel different to me. And then there's three or four other teams, San Francisco looking for a quarterback, Minnesota, Miami, and Dallas. They're just missing something, firepower at quarterback. Maybe for Minnesota and Miami. I don't trust the coach with Dallas. San Francisco now has the great defense, but we don't know what they're gonna be at quarterback. I guess what, Dallas. It's this symbol as you lavish them with praise this morning. Haven't we seen this before? A week and wobbly team Waltz is in to Dallas and the Cowboys roll them to standalone TV game and everybody freaks out, and then about three weeks they gotta go playoff playoff team. Maybe it's on the road, it's just uncomfortable, that's snowing, it's and they just can't make the plays late. I mean, never forget. You watch that Green Bay game, right, green Bay is not even good. So take a deep breath. I think they're close, but I don't trust them because they have not gotten to an NFC championship game in a sport where everybody, even the Lions, are viable. They haven't gotten there since nineteen ninety five. So I will believe it when I see it. But this a week and wobbly team with an old quarterback and interim coach Waltz is into Dallas on a standalone game and they bury them late in the fourth quarter. You know how many times I've seen that in the last fifteen years, twenty two dozen. Believe it when I see it against a great team, potentially on the road and a great coach. Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays and noon Easter nine a Empacific on Fox Sports Radio FS one and the iHeartRadio app. What to Do with a handsome Jimmy g Jimmy g Q. It's been the story since the preseason, hasn't it. We said when the season started the most interesting team in the league would be the Niners. So they give up all these draft picks, they get a college kid. They won't even give Jimmy Garoppolo a playbook, true story, won't give him a playbook as he heals in the off season. We want to play Trey Lance and that doesn't work. It's just not clicking. It's they're better with Jimmy g so they give it to him. He's not resentful. Your question how talented he is? Can he stay healthy? And the story of Handsome Jimmy g Q is officially over. He'll be a free agent. There won't be much of a market at all unless he goes on the cheap, And the Niners now get clarity. They're gonna move on. What to do well? I do think brock Purty. I did watch him yesterday and I watched him in the preseason. My takeaway, there's a little Taylor Heineck there. I think you can win this weird division. I think you could win a playoff game. They would face the new York Giants. If the playoffs were today at home, and I think they beat the Giants with brock Purty, I really do. But are you gonna go to Philadelphia and win? No? Are you gonna beat Cincinnati, Buffalo, Kansas City with brock Purty. No, the coach is still great, the defense is last ten, fifteen years, amazing. But this story ends how kind of a lot of people thought it would end. It's sputters and brittle. Jimmy G can't stay healthy, folks. This sport is not built for everybody to play fifteen years. Some guys physically, some guys emotionally just wear down, and he struggled to stay healthy. Brock Purty, you can win a division and a playoff game with him. But the standard here is very high because the coach in the defense is really special. It does create clarity. It's Trey Lance's team. Next year, it's Trey Lance's team. Kid, here's your shot, young people, get opportunities in your life. No, Jimmy G in the sideline recovering, it's your team. My second takeaway is two is kind of two is kind of what we thought. He was right, Like, we've gotta be honest about this. Everybody in life, in sports reacts differently based on circumstances. Joe Burrow got to a super Bowl with a bad online Joe Burrows winning games without Joe Mixon. Jamar Chase was out for about a month. Now he's back. Joe Mixon wins. That's not two. If two asked to face a great defense, has a little pressure. He was obviously rattled early off his game, lack confidence, got hit, had no interest as a small guy getting hit by the Niners. Missed open throws, he was totally off. I think it was in his head. He made one big throw all day to a wide open Tyreek Hill. That was it. They couldn't get to the red zone. He couldn't hit the open throws. He's not a playmaker. He's always been small. He's just not a guy that's going to elevate people in crisis. That's not what he is. You give him a great coach, you give him great weapons, you give him all his guys are healthy. You can score a lot of points and I'll win a lot of games. But he's not a Burrough. He's not on the homes. He's not a Herbert, he's not an Allen. He's not going to overcome obstacles and potholes, flat tires. That's not what he is and you saw it on display there. Doesn't mean he can't win games, doesn't mean he couldn't shock people in the playoffs, go on the road and beat somebody. But to win time and time and time again, you need special at that position, and I just don't think that's what he is. Here's what Tua. Great kid, heck of a leader, accurate distributor. As I've said, if you like Jimmy G and I did, you gotta at least respect Tua. Physical imitations, certainly act accurate. Got some alpha guys, guys, everybody loves them. But there are limitations Jimmy G which everybody always acknowledged. And now we have to be honest about Tuah. Here he was after sucks that we didn't come out in and say what we wanted to do collectively as a team. Obviously it starts with me offensively, turnovers, with third downs, communication errors. Um, you know, in that retrospect, it's hard to to win a game when you know when when you're not on your peasing keys and you're you're you're not died in When it comes to tah it's really expectations, and I think most Dolphin fans that I've talked to or you tweet are pretty realistic. They know what they have. They have a brilliant young coach, the fastest football player in the world, and when everything's right, Tua can distribute. But in the NFL, especially in December and January, Man, there are games nothing goes right for a half and that's when Burrow and Mahomes and Josh Allen are special. I mean, Herbert's been missing his left tackle all year, the o lines of mess. Mike Williams is never healthy, and he's had four come from behind wins. Almost bit it again yesterday. It's no shot at too. I feel bad for the forty nine ers. There's a lot of rumors about what they're gonna do. Now there's been a Tom Brady rumor. My guess is they stay with Brock Purty. You can win a division in a playoff game. This is a great roster, not a good roster. It is a loaded roster. Defensively, it is insane. It looks like they're playing with twelve guys. It's like those old Ravens teams are like, do they have an extra safety? Do they have an extra linebacker? That's what Niners look like. They're closing speed Fred Warner the bullet train sideline to sideline. It's like they're playing with an extra pass rusher or an extra linebacker or safety. But the Jimmy G there's a number out there. When Jimmy G plays, they win. When he doesn't, they don't be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays and noon Easter ninety Empacific. There's a lot of reports because Michigan now is the number two team in the country, the number or two team in the college football Playoff. There are stories yesterday that teams are doing their homework on Jim Harbaugh. So Jim Harbaugh has what almost no coach ever has in college major leverage to the NFL. People forget Harbaugh was forty four nineteen and one in the NFL. Saban bombed in the NFL, Spurrier bombed in the NFL. He was forty four nineteen and one, took over a mess, and by the way, the minute he left it was a mess again. So this idea, though that Harball is going to leave Michigan for the Colts job or the Panther's job. Give me a break. Those have impulsive owners and no franchise quarterback. Hardball's got it. Rolling the Ohio state rivalry is now his. The game moves back to ann Arbor next year. He found his star quarterback in JJ McCarthy, who's coming back. His staff is excellent and their identity offensively is classic tough guy Harbaugh. Offense, the Colts job yuck. The Panther's job hard pass, even Denver, no thanks. The only head coaching job good enough for Jim Harbaugh, and he would have to sit down and think about it, would be the LA Chargers. Star quarterback, star left tackle, elite receiver, edge rusher, excellent young corner, smart GM owners don't meddle a lot. The Chargers. And let's be honest. He coached at Stanford, he coached at San Diego. He likes living out West. Chargers Harbaugh absolutely, but it cracks me up this idea the Colts job. What is attractive about the Colts. They don't have the wide receiver talent, the edge rush talent. They need another corner. The offensive line now is getting older and banged up. Like what Jonathan Taylor's nice, But I mean you watch them last night. That is they're are a mess. They have never recovered from Andrew Luck's early retirement. They're just really as a franchise with an incredibly impulsive owner that it ran off. Carson Wentz ran off, Frank right now probably runs off the GM. So I think I think Harbor, if I'm hardball outside of the Chargers, I'm not taking any of these calls. He controls personnel. The Ohio State game goes back to ann Arbor. I think they're the best team in college football. I think George's got more talent. I think they have a greater sense of identity offensively and are good enough defensively. So that's where we stand. Here's former Michigan tight end Jake buck Now with the Big Ten Network, was on my show last week. We talked about Hardball, how he's changed the culture at Michigan when he first got there. You got to think about where Michigan was. We were coming off of five and seven season. You know, Brady Hope would let go. Dave Randon, athletic director, was let go, and I just remember the intensity that he brought and you know as you look at it now, he's had to adapt, right. He took a program that was in shambles. He stabilized it. We had back to back ten win seasons. But I think going back to last season, you saw a change in coach hardball and it's paid dividends with their on field success. This is not the time to leave. They are the recruitings rolling, the staff is rolling. Ohio State feels like they're a little off kilter right now. Not bad, there's still a really great top five, top four program. But when I see these rumors about the Colts and the Panthers and the Texans and the what just because he once wore a Colts jersey? What is nicer about the Colts job than the Michigan job. Those Michigan job. Now, he's going to go back and renegotiate if he wins a title or get to that title game and get ten million a year. His dad lives right next to him with the grandkids. Ann Arbor's in a rocking place to live. The Cults job, the Panthers job, what are you talking about? This is Steve Covino and Rich Davis, and together we are Cavino enriched Cavino and Rich. Another winning week. We've had a good year. I took the Lions over the Jags, the Niners over the Dolphins, and the Raiders to beat the Chargers. I apologize about the Titans. I don't know what happened. I love Mike Vrabel, but they laid an absolute egg three and two on the week though. Feel pretty good about it. Where Colin was right? I have defended Jimmy Garoppolo, and even with his health issues, I generally argue he's usually healthy, but some guys aren't built to play this game for fifteen years emotionally, some guys aren't built to play it physically, and Garoppolo continues to be a liability physically broken ankle out for the year, and once again it puts a great roster, a very good young GM, an excellent head coach in a bind Garoppolo, Jimmy G's career. It feels like is pretty much done. Where Colin was right. I never ever bailed on the Bengals and Joe Burrow when they struggled early. I said, give them time to develop a run game. This team is special. They're excellent situationally. They were winning until yesterday without Jamar Chase and Joe Mixon. I like this team a lot. They are good in the red zone, They're good on third down. Burrow's just special. I mean, I thought he was going to be Tony Romo out of college, and I think Tony Romo is excellent. But a lot of people bailed on the Bengals early. We did not where Colin was wrong. Alabama deserve to get in over Ohio State. Two narrow losses in the SEC. I'm not bothered by it. I think the Buckeyes will actually play Georgia real close, and it's frankly a more interesting game. I've seen Bama played Georgia a lot of times, but I think I did believe that Bama had a better argument too close at the buzzer losses against excellent teams in the best conference. But I was wrong where Colin was right. Josh McDaniels, you can keep criticizing the Raiders coach, but there's two things I love about him and why I won't bail on him. He has developed a run game without a great old line, and he is getting the ball to the right people. That's good coaching. I can see his fingerprints all over this offense. They play hard. If they lose, they lose close. But he is developing a run game, and outside of the left tackle they don't have a very good offensive line. This team has something. Brandon Staley and the Chargers, I can't see the coaching. He's a defensive coach. They can't stop the run, they don't create turnovers. They're not good situationally. If I can see your fingerprints as a coach on your team, you're doing something right. I like Josh McDaniel and for the first time in a decade. I really like the fight of these Raiders. Where Colin was right. I defended Chris Ballard the GM of the Colts for years, but boy, they are a mess. Some of it is an impulsive owner, some of it is Andrew Luck retiring. But they're not good at the positions you have to be in twenty two left tackle, wide receiver, star corner, consistent edge rush. They have a good interior, old line, some good linebackers. But they are right now, a reeling mess. And I was wrong where Colin was right. The United States men's national team was exactly what we thought they were. We said, if they lose, everybody will blame Greg Burrholter. But they're just too young to win games in the knockout stage, and they were eventually dominated and toyed with by the Netherlands. But we thought they would get out of the group stage. Listen, if you look at the teams that generally do well, it's veteran players who have been playing in great European leagues in four years. Our best players are Tyler Adams, are Christian Poolsics. They're like twenty seven twenty eight year old kids now we're puppies. We were overwhelmed, but we were better than many thought. We're all blaming burr Halter. Here was Tyler Adams after the exit. We could show that we can hang with some of the best teams in the world, some of the best players in the world, and that's a lot of progress for US soccer. We're moving in the right direction, for sure, but we need to keep pushing because we're not there yet, but we're close. Where Colin was raw. Anthony Davis and the Lakers are creeping toward five hundred. I don't know how he's been a monster. They played their best game of the year against Milwaukee Friday, and a d had fifty five last night against the Wizards. I did think he would have a great season because he was criticized all off season. They don't have a lot of shooters, don't have enough wing defenders, but Anthony Davis is playing out of his mind. Darvin Hamm has got these guys hustling on the defensive end. They're playing some really nice defense, and they are creeping toward five hundred. I thought the Milwaukee game would unveil their weaknesses. It actually showed their strength, where Colin was right. Finally it's official. College football announced last week they were going to a twelve team playoff. I had predicted before the season they would announce it at some time very soon. Why. The same reason baseball expanded their playoffs, the same reason the NFL expanded their playoffs. There's just too much network television money in playoff appearances and playoff formats. College football will be better served. Some rivalries at the end of the year may not feel as special, But when Auburn and Alabama play, You'll watch. I'll watch everybody. You'll still watch one more head. The Head streams twenty four hours a day, seven days a week within the iHeartRadio app. Search her to listen live or on demand whenever you like. The Hall of Famer Jimmy Johnson, Fox Sports analyst for years, is joining us part of the Fox NFL Sunday Crew. So let's start with a Niner thing. It's really interesting. Quarterback has never been more valuable in this league. They're the soul, the heart of a football team, the coach and the quarterback. Brock Purty can probably win your division. He's been in the system, Jimmy for a while. He can probably you know, he's been here all camp. He could probably win a home playoff game against the Giants. But boy, I don't see him going to a Philadelphia right. What would you do? Would would just sniff a Baker Mayfield? Would you give him a workout? What would you do? Yeah? I would take a look at Baker, depending on the contract, depending on the commitment. There may be a couple of other team's interested in Baker Mayfield. But I was impressed with Purdie. Now that was just a restricted showing. Yeah, but I thought he did an excellent job. And with that defense for the forty nine ers, you know they're going to have a shot against anybody as long as the quarterback doesn't turn it over and have negative plays. Yeah. I saw Purdie play in the preseason. I said, he's a little Taylor heinek. He's a little bit of a gamer, you know. You know it's interesting, Jimmy, they never asked Garoppolo to make dangerous throws. They I mean they they didn't ask a lot from Garoppolo. Could I not argue? Right, Purdie is a more mobile Garoppolo. Maybe he may be, you know, and time will tell. I know, we watched Purdie. You know when he was would stay. He was a scrapper. You know. Yeah, they didn't ask him to do a whole lot up there, but you know they loved him up there. So when I watched Miami, I felt as I watched it the Tuah, he could sense the pass rush. He is a smaller athlete, right, he's had injuries. He didn't play with a lot of swagger. You know, you start falling behind with that pass rush. Jimmy, you just wrote a book swagger, you know, Miami. Well, what was your interpretation of the afternoon for McDaniel and Tua and the like? You know, I think considering you know, they didn't have their offensive tackles in there, Tua knew that he was getting rid of the football just as quick as he could, and he was throwing high. Normally, he is a very accurate pass so you got a good touch on the ball, but he was not accurate yesterday and that hurt him. But they also showed that they're an explosive team. You know, if you give him protection with those receivers, they can explode and they can score in a hurry. So, you know, I said pretty much since you know you have left Dallas, you and Bill both is that I've seen Dallas in the standalone TV games beat wobbly team and the Cults are really wobbly. But you know the margins shrink in late December and January. I don't trust them situationally, you know, that's where it worries me. But when Dallas rolls over a team, you look at them athletically. The games last night change your mind. Where are you on Dallas today? Yesterday on Fox and NFL Sunday, I said, you know, Dallas will get on a roll for the next three weeks. They'll pad a bunch of statist seeks and then we'll find out how good they are when they play Philadelphia on Christmas Eve, and then they go on the road to play the Titans and the Commanders. So we're not going to know anything more about Dallas until those last three weeks. But they're an extremely talented team. They'll beat the heck out of Houston this weekend, and then they'll beat Jacksonville the next week and everybody will be raving about it. They may be the best team in the league, but we won't know until we see them against Philadelphia. Some have suggested myself included they could use a little juice. Obj is interesting. He wouldn't have to be the primary. Would you disrupt the room? Would you take a chance on that? Or no? See, I don't think he would disrupt the room. I just wonder how healthy Obj is. I just wonder when would he make a contribution. He might not make a contribution until maybe the last week or two of the season in the playoffs. But without a question, he's a talented receiver and he can help that room. Now, it's just a matter of what are you gonna pay, you know, to get him, and how big a commitment are you going to have with the guy that's coming off of a couple of knee surgeries, you know, for a two or three four year commitment. So you know, I believe there's three quarterbacks in this league now that are just different. Mahomes, Burrow and josh Allen. Mahomes the talents obvious. I could see that Allen. The size and arm is obvious. I could see that Burrows different. He doesn't blow your way in size, arm strength. There is something there, though, Jimmy, did you spot it in college? Did you think this is what we were going to get as a pro. Yeah, North Turner, you know who was my quarterback coach with the Cowboys, And of course he was a head coach in this league for a long time, a couple of different places. He worked out a bunch of the quarterbacks when they came out. The year that Burrow came out, and he called me, he said, he is the best that I've ever seen. He said, he's the most accurate, he's the most confident, he's athletic, He's the best I've ever seen coming out of college. And you know, right now you got to go Burrow and Mahomes. Yeah, but the only thing I would also throw Herbert in there with Josh Allen. Yeah, yeah, Well I don't blame you. A lot of people like Herbert. Finally, so when you coach college, God, if you could get a bonus here and a bonus there and make a million bucks you were living, beget a free car local dealership. Right now, these college coaches making seven eight nine million or something, would you leave Michigan if you were Harball? Well, when I went to the Cowboys, I made four hundred thousand, So that's what I was making the University of Miami. If I told you the story earlier, and then I'll say it again. Like I told Butch Davis when Butch was at the University of Miami. Uh he you know, he had me kind of go in between, you know, with Ernie of COURSI some of the people at Cleveland, And I said, Butch, I said, you can go to Cleveland and get you a sackful of money and then get fired and go back to college. As far as Harball, hey, really he's got him. He's got him a pretty good situation right there in Michigan. I know he's got to fight Ohio State. But you jump in the NFL, A lot of things can go wrong. Yeah, more things can go wrong than can go right. Yeah. No, I mean, you know, Jimmy more so today in your era, you could be a run first team and be really really good. Now you had Acheman obviously, I mean, I love Rabel and Derrick Henry, but I can't consider the Titans a super Bowl team to Yeah, I don't know if you can win. If you don't have a great quarterback, can you win? You got to have a franchise quarterback. You know, the old days of the Baltimore Ravens having the one of the greatest defenses ever. Step on the field and run the football and don't turn it over With Trent Dilford, you know those days are long gone. You've got to have a franchise quarterback, a quarterback that can make plays. It's all about the passing game now, Colin. You know they have protected those receivers and the quarterback such now that the rules, it's all throwing the football now. It's nice to have a little running game, you know, for certain situations in the game, but points come in the passing game, and you've got to have a franchise quarterback to do that. The book is Swagger. You see it behind Jimmy Johnson. It's available Amazon dot Com and stores now as owas Jimmy. It's an absolute pleasure. Have great holidays and great seeing you in a Monday, and thanks for Swagger. They'll be a great Christmas present for somebody in Sherwood. I've already about three quarters the way through it. It's fantastic stories from Jimmy Johnson his football life. Thanks coach, Thank you, Colin. One more Herd. The Herd streams twenty four hours a day, seven days a week within the iHeartRadio app search Herd to listen live or on demand whenever you like. I've got my reservations about the Dallas Cowboys. I don't trust their situational coaching in tight spots. I've seen them lose big games to well coached teams, and I think Dak has a ceiling. I don't feel that way about Philadelphia. I'm really all in on the Eagles after they trounced the Titans. So I've watched them played two big games this year where they've been challenged. Minnesota rolled them, Titans rolled them, and the Titans don't get rolled a lot well coached, physical football team. But yesterday the Eagles couldn't run the ball. Twenty four carries sixty seven yards. Jalen hurts his like I got it. Three touchdowns, one hundred thirty passer raiding three hundred eighty yards. That's the question, can Jalen hurts if the run game slows down carry you? The answer is yes, Jalen hurts his Dak without the PR machine behind him. Dak has been a star since his first preseason game in Los Angeles. I can remember saying slow down. It's the preseason day one Dak was a star Day one. We've doubted Jalen Hurts. He had a transfer from Alabama. He went in the second round, right and we doubted too small camp throw. Dak has a ceiling even now, when I watched Dak yesterday in that win Missus Open throws, I know what Dak is and I know what he's not. I don't know what Jalen Hurts is not because every time anybody questions him, he answers the bell. Since his high school days, he's never had the same play caller in back to back years until this year. It's the first time since high school he has the same play caller in back to back years, and he's made a massive jump. I don't see the ceiling so far. Maybe it develops. But you took the run game away from him yesterday. I saw this against Minnesota in Tennessee. He had over three hundred yards in each. He had three touchdowns minimum in each. He completed seventy four percent of his throws in each. On the biggest stages when he's been asked to carry the team, he has exploded. He is Dak without the pr machine, in love and the media attention. All we've done is elevate Dak He's this, He's that. All we've done with Jalen Hurts is doubt him. He hasn't had continuity, he hasn't had the right coaches, he had to transfer in college. But I sat and watched that Tennessee game yesterday, and this kid is just three hundred yards waiting to happen. His accuracy big jumps, his production big jumps when he finally gets a little continuity and play calling there. I mean, I was a doubter. I just I thought he was more of a runner than a thrower. But man does he He has just taken these Josh Allen major leaps in production, in accuracy. I'm all in on this team. I think it's since Kansas City, Buffalo and Philadelphia. It took a while, but I am all in on the Eagles.
