Today on the show, Rick & Dave reacted to the first-ever fight between man and machine, a woman somehow fell into a sinkhole on her birthday, there's some wacky new food and drinks out there, and it was time for everybody to fess up to the thing they silently judge people for!

A 3-year-old did a rather incredible thing to save her mom's life, and with the Emmys in the rear view, Dave hit the phones to find out how audience members made it onto television! 

Dave's been struggling to keep his son's Halloween decorations intact in the front yard and he's not alone, a suspect in a burglary case is driving a not too inconspicuous car, some guy not only trespassed on a homeowner's property but got creepy in the process, and the Midterms fatigue is setting in strong! Dave dug up a classic George Carlin bit to explain the difference between baseball and football, and after a listener posed the question, the greatest American rock and roll band was debated! 

Back at it! Today on the show, Dave celebrated the 60th anniversary of The Monkees debuting on American television. A suspicious man was pulled over by the cops, not realizing that he was the person of interest. Two British women are getting weird when it comes to feeding their babies, it's National Coloring Day and Crayola has released new colors, and with last week having National School Picture Day, Dave hit the phones to hear about your funniest or most embarrassing school photo! 

The NFL season has begun and it started pretty much exactly how it ended, a mayor is under fire for walking around without any pants, science is trying to explain why dads sneeze so loudly, and it's National School Picture Day! Women are less than thrilled about football coming back, and iPhone users are likewise not happy because they're claiming their phones have become noticeably worse right before the new one was unveiled! 

It's National When Pigs Fly Day, so it was worth telling the wild story behind Pink Floyd's "Animals" cover photo, the NFL returns tonight and even the toddlers are excited about it, Dave prepared a eulogy for all the soon-to-be "football widows" out there, and since Labor Day is behind us and summer is considered over, it's a great time to remember that season of our youth when we experienced our summer love. 

Back from a 3-day weekend, and it's a big day for Trekkies! A new documentary trailer dropped over the weekend that's both haunting and mesmerizing, tennis players at the US Open have a unique complaint, and it was duct tape to the rescue once again up in the skies over the weekend! The world's biggest Billy Joel fan just might be a dog, and Dave has been getting annoyed at certain things his friends have been posting on social media and he's not alone! 

What a weird and wonderful way to close out the week and hit the 3-day weekend! People are confused over the meaning of Labor Day, we heard celebrity plans for the weekend, Green Day has a roadtrip anthem for it, and our very own Mitch crashed the morning show unannounced! So Dave made the decision to forego everything he had planned and pick Mitch's brain on radio stories from the past, and celebrate the history of The Hawk for the 25th Anniversary!

It was a wild morning, weather-wise, with severe thunderstorms and an epic lightning show, and some guy on Long Island recently got struck but lived to tell the tale! Tiger Woods got his license suspended for 5 years, but Florida police can't decide if that means golf carts too. A bartender shared the weirdest tips he's ever received, the cast of the new Dancing With The Stars was announced, and Dave shared his texting tradition he's had with a friend for 22 years... then hit the phones to find out about a whole lot more! 

The school year has just started but kids are already getting into trouble, the serial "butt-sniffer" in California got arrested again, there's a new destination to relax over Labor Day weekend, Journey brought out a singer to cameo with them live on-stage and it did not go so well, and a DoorDash driver was delivering food naked in Texas so Dave hit the phones to hear about your strangest delivery encounters! 

Dave found yet another audio clip to wake you up if you didn't have your coffee yet, surcharges at restaurants continue to jump the shark, turns out Nirvana made the Billboard dance chart, and people on social media are hating on September for some reason! A World War II vet celebrated his 101st birthday in an awesome and ironic way, and Dave told the story of his encounter with a "Karen" over the weekend at a brewery! 

Back to the grind, with a bunch of fun stories in tow! A dog surprised his owners by bringing an armadillo home, the new trend in online streaming is doing it with grizzly bears, a truck hauling Pabst Blue Ribbon was hijacked, and we went inside the mind of a zookeeper today! Life imitated art in the skies last week, and with the return of college football, Dave hit the phones to hear if anyone ever needed to lie to their wife to watch it!

Today Dave played rare audio he found from The Beatles' final concert, the voice of Optimus Prime from Transformers (and many other characters) died, Trekkies are gathering in London to break a record, and there's a new product being offered by Big Pharma that sounds great! Turns out ChatGPT is really bad at a lot of things, especially honking a car horn, and Dave's sister-in-law nearly had a panic attack after her dog launched himself out the window, so he hit the phones to hear the best naughty dog stories from listeners! 

It was a soaking wet Thursday and Dave dove into everything from the best Dolly Parton punchlines to a new survey on the clothes people wear to bed. There's a new Willy Wonka game show coming to Netflix, toilet paper prices might be surging due to the trade war with Canada, a young kid claims he drank beer in preschool, and with all the kids back in class Dave had listsners call in to share the cruelest nicknames for classmates back in the day! 

It was a sad morning, after getting the news that Dolly Parton passed away at the age of 80. Dave paid tribute to the icon in various segments, and also featured a weatherman who went viral for completely losing it while giving a forecast! And a man in Georgia found $30 on the ground in Walmart and ended up having the cops come looking for him! Which led to the debate - is it a crime to simply find cash on the ground and keep it??

Today on the show, Dave started off plunging the depths of the see for weird stories and shared a new discovery about dolphins and a prank call involving a whale! The owner of the San Francisco 49ers was arrested at a trailer park looking for illicit sex, a Kindergarten teacher shared bathroom tips for incoming students, and listeners shared their emotions over dropping their kids off at school! 

Yesterday the Phillies stormed back in the 9th with their first walkoff homerun in over 1,100 games! Dave's sons are at the point of summer where they've seen too much of one another and he found another young kid who can relate, and it was time to own up to the words that trip us up every time - what's the word you simply can't pronounce?! 

This morning Dave had to deliver the sad news about ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard passing away, and paid tribute to him with a variety of interview clips. Jason Kelce's reign as the king of man children continues in a new campaign to drink his beer and send AI data centers your pee, it's National Potato Day and to celebrate a daycare of toddlers attempted to pronounce it, and with kids heading back to school, listeners shared their stories about skipping out on it! 

On this Taco Tuesday, Dave kicked things off with some rock history, as this is the 57th anniversary of the original Woodstock wrapping up. You'll find out what Bonnie Tyler and Coke Zero have in common, a local newscast fell apart thanks to an anchor asking about eating beaver, if your fantasy football draft didn't go as planned there's a new product that could help, and it turns out a certainly celebrity quit smoking weed thanks to a Janet Jackson song! And with the school year approaching, Dave hit the phones to hear your stories about things teachers did back in the day that would never fly nowadays! 

The dawn of a new week, and Dave had to share sad news right off the bat about a young actress. Another Pennsylvania family made a shocking discovery in the water, there's a new Scooby Doo episode featuring President Trump, and Flock cameras are popping up everywhere and causing suspicion but their new product may benefit your social life! A woman tried to outsmart her homeowner's association, and Dave hit the phones to hear what chain restaurants you love, despite having bad reputations...

Comedian Jim Breuer made some astute points about AC/DC, and Dave talked about the viral video of a lady chasing after her car and hit the phones to hear stories about listener stupidity involving vehicles! 

It's back-to-school time, and a mom tried to scare her son straight after he refused to take his annual back-to-school photo for her. Chick-fil-A has a reputation for exceptional service, but it's getting extremely friendly! On the flip side of that coin, there's still servers out there who don't understand that gratuity is a tip. Barbie is getting a makeover, but what about Ken?! And with kids returning to college, Dave hit the phones to hear the craziest stories about pledging to a soririty or fraternity!

The servers were not behaving last week, sorry for the lack of pods on Thursday and Friday. But Dave (and our servers) were back today, and treating listeners to a rather incredible Stephen Hawking impression, a possible fast one that Shake Shack is trying to pull, some 92-year-old grandma isn't letting anything stand in the way of her Taco Bell, and Dave shared another "Desperate Wife Text From Summer!" And since it's back-to-school season, people shared advice on how to handle a bully...

A guy came up with a great idea to bond with his young son, and Dave hit Musikfest yesterday with the family to scout out the best deals on refilling your mug, but also wanted to know your most recent waste of money! 

Today on the show Dave noticed a trend in movie trailers recently, ranted about how bad country music sucks, but then at least gave their artists credit for one thing. If you're a struggling parent on summer break with the kids, there is hope. An alarmingly bad version of the National Anthem was performed over the weekend, and Dave hit the phones to hear the thing you used to do all the time that you completely STOPPED doing!

Dave returned from his extended weekend down the shore, and played what it sounds like to win your first championship in 75 years. People are mistaking frogs for dogs in Texas, Dave's Liam Neeson impression has been topped, and there's a new aterpark you want to avoid! The Cyclospora outbreak has actually brought us all together, and Dave's wife still has embarrassing posters on her childhood bedroom wall. So what was on yours?! 

It was a beautiful Thirsty Thursday and to celebrate, Dave had listeners call in to shoutout their favorite local bartenders and the best drinks to order from them! A TikTokker went on a rant about tipping culture, Tommy Lee told an outrageous rock and roll story from the 80s, some lady in Australia had identical QUADRUPLETS, and if you're headed to the big Comic Con in San Diego, "Crazy Eddie" is your guy! 

Made it to midweek! Today on the show Dave started out with a little music quiz, thanks to last night's Jeopardy. A mime was arrested in Massachussettes, a dad mortified his daughter in a Starbucks drive-thru, some guy got his coworkers in the office to perform their best bird calls, "There I Ruined It" on YouTube tackled what Taylor Swift sounds like to people who aren't a fan, and Dave posed a hypothetical question today that digs for the ultimate truth! 

Today it was a Taco Tuesay with all the fillings, as some poor dude got called out by his wife for "cheating" on her by enjoying it himself, Kelly Clarkson got a little too personal in concert, and the FDA is now saying Taco Bell is NOT to blame for the Cyclospora outbreak! A teleprompter operator for the Trump administration got busted betting on phrases the President would say during speeches, and Dave's friend got sent to the doghouse over the weekend for a mistake he made at a cookout! 

Back in action on a Monday, and today Dave reacted to the World Cup ending, shared the things we learned along the way, and even took grief from a British woman who was here for it but didn't like our food! The nerve. Some idiot got stuck in a porta-potty, a family was shocked at a discovery inside their AirBnB, and a Canadian mother was asleep throughout her entire delivery of her baby! So Dave hit the phones to find out the most inappropriate place you passed out!

Today's show featured an exotic dancer who's pole caused her problems, a man stole a cat then robbed a bank with it, some girl on TikTok was ecstatic over spotting a weiner, there's a new big panic in the news that needs an introduction, and a 77-year-old lady got a hilarious new license plate by accident. Plus, Mick Jagger was interviewed by the New York Times and talked about his role as a frontman to the audience. He says it's to entertain and not lecture! The audience weighed in on artists who love to get up on their soapbox...

There's a theme developing on the show this week, which is wild animal encounters! Some older guy in Florida overreacted just a bit to a family who didn't want to pet his dog, turns out there's one thing that ChatGPT is really bad at, Iron Maiden was mashed up with a group you'd least expect, some dude recreated Beach Boys harmonies step-by-step, and seeing as yesterday was National Nude Day, Dave hit the phones to hear stories about walking in on someone in the buff! 

Last night the Home Run Derby was held in Philly, fittingly, because it led to heartbreak for Phillies fans. Mick Jagger told a story about the rock star who convinced him to NOT meet Elvis, a woman had a real thrift scare after buying a wallet, and it's National Mac 'n Cheese Day! Turns out Dave isn't the only one being startled by bears lately, and some poor guy got his arm trapped in a baking machine in Tennessee, so it was a day to share stories about times when you or someone you know got stuck! 

Dave returned from a 4-day weekend, and he brought some wild stories from the Poconos. Literally! A new silly world record was broken, Ali G was spotted at Wimbledon, a woman turned a drive-thru into a McOpera, and it's National Embrace Your Geekness Day! Some dad on TikTok made some keen observations on nursery rhymes, and Dave talked about his encounter with a mama bear and cubs, then hit the phones to hear more listener stories from the wild!

Today on the show, Dave found a guy who agrees that grandparent nicknames have jumped the shark, some poor mom got absolutely owned by a new appliance, a kitten was rescued with a drumstick, and we heard exclusive audio of Travis Kelce writing his wedding vows to Taylor Swift! The 4th of July is approaching, and comedian Nick Swardson has a friend who goes all out for it, and rocker Bryan Adams called in to promote his current tour! 

Another day in radio land, and Dave started off by celebrating Social Media Day. Massive flocks of vultures have been invading people's homes in the Southeast, some autistic kid went viral for his incredible bird calls, and a teenager came out of anesthesia and turned into Eddie Van Halen! And since Dave was going through old photo albums over the weekend, he made some eye-raising discoveries and he's not alone when it comes to incriminating photos!
