Louis Itumeleng Seeco is the CEO of an agency called Elements
which focuses on the creation of investment opportunities with
key industry suppliers.
Louis founded Elements in 1995, after leaving his job in 1994 as
a Marketing Services Manager at Spiritz Magazine – Backdoor
Publishing.
Under Elements, Louis is managing a team of 27 executives
whose role is Media Planning and Buying, Research and
Consumer Insights, Marketing Shopping Malls and Public & Media
Relations.
One of their current major business projects is the rolling out of
their container franchise, which provides female small business
owners in the food industry, an opportunity to run their
businesses in a dignified environment.
In addition to this, Louis is also a media commentator and
contributor for various publications and a part-time presenter on
radio on Media Focus on SAfm.
He has written articles for publications such as City Press,
Financial mail, Marketing Mix, Marketing Place, Brands and Brand
Building.
Louis is the author of a book on marketing to diverse cultures
titled Marketing: The Same Difference, which was released in
January 2010.
Louis holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool in London;
Bcom Degree in Marketing, Commercial Law and Economics from
Wits University; and a Diploma in Marketing Management from
the Institute Of Marketing Management.
Whilst studying at Wits, he was also an Executive Member of the
BSS (Black Students Society), as well as the chairperson of the
Club for Social Action – Responsible for entertainment on
campus and fundraising.
Louis is originally from the township of Alexandra and is also a
father, golfer and biker.
