The eThekwini Filmmakers Association proudly announces the winners of the 2024 African Emerging Filmmakers Awards (AEFA), held in Durban on December 14th. Hosted by Nonkanyiso Laconco Congo and Sibusiso Shozi, the event celebrated the creativity and passion of South African emerging filmmakers. With the theme “We are kings and queens - Reviving the spirit of ubuntu,” this year's awards honored outstanding achievements in various film categories. The ceremony also paid tribute to industry veterans who have paved the way for future creatives.
