Private and public entities have recently warned the public about job scams including South African National Roads Agency (SOC) Limited (Sanral), Capite. Bank and the South African Police Service (SAPS). South Africa has a large number of unemployed people who are desperate to find a job that could help them make ends meet, making them vulnerable to job scams. Another group of people that is vulnerable to job scams are newly matriculated young people who are just entering a job market that is unknown to them.
