Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon made a last-ditch bid to plead guilty to the manslaughter of his former boyfriend Jesse Baird - but the Crown rejected that, and is pressing ahead with a prosecution of Lamarre-Condon for the murders of Baird and his new partner Luke Davies. The former police officer has pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence-related murder and one count of aggravated break and enter. The New South Wales Supreme Court trial is expected to run for around three months.
