Check out the latest Radio Blog!

Tell him that wait for it, they talk better than they tell me.

These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show, so I know what this blog is about. Paulina and I had to like, of all the ideas we had for the show today, Oh, I can't wait. I can't I cannot wait to hear Please, Paulina, Please, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy it.

Yeah, your hands are crossed?

Are you ready for this?

I thought of you right away, dear blog. So over the weekend Habby, my husband and I had a date night and I turned into family nights, so a lot of us went to the movies and we.

So it was supposed to be the two of you, but then everybody showed up.

Kind of He's like, hey, is the find my family comes because he went with them to the shooting range and I guess they were like, what are you doing tonight?

Yeah. I was like, let's just make family day. I was fine with it. I was sign with it.

I love like his family, obviously, I love them and it was a good time. So plus that they'll drink with me, so I love that too. You know that they't drink with me. They're fine at the bar. They are very fun. The shooting ranger.

No, no, no, this is at the movies. Yeah, at the movie.

Interesting combination.

We enjoy that. No, okay, no, not that one. So we went to the movies.

We saw that new Mark Wahlberg movie, the one where it's called a Flight Risk.

Oh yeah, I've seen that poster.

Oh.

I was like, so, yeah, we saw it. I really liked it.

Doesn't take much to impress me with movies, though. I like things simplified. And I think this could be the issue with what I'm about to say, because the plot wasn't really plottin Like everybody was like such a hard critic about this movie. I thought it was great because I actually followed it along very well, which is very hard for me to do sometimes in movies. And I'm not like a deep thinker. But the one thing about not a deep thinker, I don't I cannot go deep with a thinking.

That's crazy.

I refuse. I know it's crazy, it's so crazy, don't see.

So No, I mean, like when about the movies, just like be Light, be Lightharted, Okay.

Because you want to go to the movies, you want to have to think exactly like that's what you're looking for Yeah, escape.

Over there, Jason. Yeah, I'm just listening like the Thinker post. It really does. I'm paying attention like the rest of us, wondering where this is going.

Storyteller, you think, and I'm building a picture here, I'm building the pictures so then picture ye, yes, I'm painting. So in the movie a spoiler alert, the plane pretty much like the guy's on who he says he is whatever, so they like, you know, restrain him whatever. It's Mark Mark Wahlberg's character. He's a bad guy. Yes, he's a bad guy. He's like wearing a bald cap.

It's the whole thing. Oh yeah, that looks really he looks really funny. I know, it's he looks ridiculous.

So then the the US Marshall lady has to fly the plane.

This isn't a commercial flight.

They're not going to like you know, churcks and cakeos, like they're going from like Alaska to I think Seattle or somewhere I think back to like this side.

Of the country, because nothing to Seattle. That's the whole premise of it. And it's it's but it's not commercial. It's like no, it's like like like what would you call it like a.

Jet, like I'm like a corporate jet, private jet kind of thing. And it's like, I don't need to see the movie anymore because you built a picture that I just it's not.

Okay. So it's a so.

So Mark Wahlberg is in an airplane and he's restrained. Yes, and some woman has to fly.

The plane us Marshall yet okay, but.

She doesn't know how to fly the plane.

She doesn't know how to fly the plane. And then she's with the guy who's a fugitive or whatever. I that's the whole reason why they're on this planets. They're flying him from wherever he was caught right to you know. And it's like that's I love this MOVI. We too, because it's like a little comical. There are little funnies in there. Who's that guy in a in a seventy show? He's the guy from the seventies show, the main character.

Okay, can we get to that, would you mind first?

Yes?

Oh?

Sorry, yeah, I think that's him. So they they got they gotta land the plane. Okay, I went to school.

One more person takes off one more person.

If one more person something that has nothing, Okay, anyway, I'm just okay.

So I did ask So I thought of you, Fred, because they had to land this little plane. She's like calling it in or whatever, and this guy's guiding her.

Tell me why my toxic trait?

Now? Was thinking I could have landed that plane too, Like if someone is on the phone with me in my AirPod and telling me what to do, press this button, lift this up out of autopilot. You got to pull the staring wheel back, you got to even things out, you gotta check the gas.

Like how is that hard?

Not that it's not easy, it's not easy, but how is that not doable for all of us?

Well? I mean and thank you for asking that question.

I am a pilot, you are a pilot, a flight instructor, and I thought of you in this sad and Kaylin who is she has ridden in Airfred many times, on many pilot and pause trips and all kinds of different things that we've done.

She does not think she could land a plane, even though she's probably seen it the most close up.

Yeah.

Over the years, you've probably flown in the plane twenty times. Yeah, so you you know you would be the most qualified in the room. Do you believe that you could land the plane if I passed out.

No, I do not like guided you maybe even like just told you, like what to do with Fred or somebody was like, hey, pull this button.

Well he's passed out. Okay, well he's not there. But like if you were to call somebody else in how do I call?

Well?

And in the movie, she's like a US marshall, so she's got like special traffic control or call someone on the phone or something.

Call. This has happened before, where like a pilot has become incapacitated and someone has a passenger is sitting in the front like on a little puddle jumper kind of flight. Like I think the one I'm thinking of was a little plane from the Bahamas to Florida something like that, and the dude got to sit like one of the passengers had to sit in the front seat because that's like because there's only one pilot, so there's like they use the front seat as like a real seat for a passenger. And the dude passed out and the guy had to call her a traffic control and be like, hey, I don't know how to land this thing, and they talked him through it and everybody.

Lives, and they lived, so it's doable.

I'm assuming you've got to really follow directions, which that would be a good assumption.

I have definitely fall directions.

TikTok that I show you had to do. I think, so that's what I'm doing. It just didn't seem hard in that moment.

Granted, if I'm in that position, though, I would be i'd pass out to because I'd be just stressing, like, I don't fall directions. You guys know that already. I don't listen very well. So I don't know if I could do that.

Right.

But I could land the plane, is my point.

I mean, Fred has like a whole list of things he does before we even get off the ground. He's like, check that, that's true, Check that, and he goes down the list meticulously. And I don't even know how to get air traffic control on the line.

That's step one. I don't know how to call that.

That would be a good place to start. You know how to do that? No?

Okay, Well, put headphones on? And then I saw them put a channel. They have a channel, but where like, what do I press on?

All?

Three point five?

Yeah?

That works?

Ye?

Sure, Okay, yeah, and then and then.

You talk to them, right, Okay, but doesn't that change on who you're talking to depending where you.

Are, so you'd have to know who to call. Help.

I would just say help, actually help me.

No, we need to find like a flight simulator somewhere and and try this. We need to try this. We need to like find a flight simulator. I don't know who will let us use one, and uh, and then maybe our friends at Delta will let us use one, oh, in Salt Lake City or something they have, like the reals. And then we'll just sit back and watch. We'll just put you in the in the left seat, guys, and then we'll just say, oh, don't know, and then we'll just sit back and see what happens, because you know.

It'd be on the grounds. Nothing bad would happen.

Yes, and I'm not promising anything of what would happen. But all I know is that I could probably land it. At least I learned this to bring it to the coastline.

Oh, I get on your plane.

What does that have to do with the won't know that there's no coastline.

They were looking for the coastline in the movie.

Okay, this is fascinating though. Okay, good, good to know Paulina believes, after watching one movie that she could land an airplane and save everyone's life a very small one, got.

It, Okay, yes, okay, good, so let's do it. I'd reach you. Thank you really, I mean, I take sperience so very similar.

Great.

No, I don't think there's any problem with spirit in the front. The problem with spirits in the back where you are. That's the most dangerous part of this.

The way she drives, you guys are getting into a plane.

I wouldn't get the car with her every time.

I don't mind how you drive, but just converting that to a plane.

I'm all set. I think just the way you told that story, he just tell us everything we need to know.

It's a fresh show.
