Check out the latest Radio Blog!

I'm excited.

These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show.

Yeah, I like running in our diaries, except we say them aloud. We call them blogs.

Kaylin, Yes you had a big weekend, goo yes, dear blog.

So after our lit night at Benny Hannah, and boy was I feeling it. Saturday morning, I drove down to Michigan State University where my twenty year old sister goes, because you guys, she is going through it and I feel so like I feel helpless because there's not much I can do for her. I just wanted to show my support, I guess. But a couple of weeks ago, I get a text from my friend Hillary, who you guys all know, who.

Is a nurse.

And she texted me and she says, is your sister in the emergency room? And obviously my heart goes to my you know, my little booty because I was like, oh my god, like, is she I call my sister. She doesn't answer. Then I check her location. She sure a spit is in the emergency room while she's at a hospital. Yeah, so I was like, oh my god, oh my god. She finally calls me back and I find out that it's not the situations. I was building up in my head because I think we all do that. But she did break her wrist snowboarding, and it was the whole thing. She had to be like snowmobile down the hill, and people felt like.

It was a whole thing. I felt so bad.

So she gets to the hospital finds out she broke her wrist, which I think she knew right when she fell. You know, when you're snowboarding, your feet are tied together, so it's like you just brace yourself.

With your wrists. She knew it was broken.

They had to give her a little morphine drip so she could get her bone popped back in, which is I already felt so bad for her, and they basically said, listen, we can't cast this right now because of the way she broke it. I can't remember the reason, but essentially they just had to put her in a sling and like wrap it. So she had to say so still for a week. And it's her dominant hand, her right hand, so she couldn't move for a week. And she was like, okay, but it's okay. I get my casts on Friday, and she was really like, you know, trying to be positive. She goes to the surgeon and they're like, okay, well maybe surgery's on the table whatever, but.

We can't give you your cast yet.

You have to stay with this like wrapping which goes above her her poor elbow, so she truly can't even it's up or down, and she's using her left hand for everything. They tell her she's going to have to have that for a couple more weeks then she'll.

Get a cast. So I felt so bad I went there.

She can't button her pants, she can't do her makeup, she can't. She's picking things up and dropping them and spilling them and getting so frustrated. She's trying to learn to write with her left hand. Like, it's so sad. She's in college, and even when she does get her cast, she's going to be in Mexico for spring break. So I just was like, what can I do for this girl? So I sent her some money and I went to visit her, took her out to a nice dinner.

But I just I feel awful for her.

It's her junior year, it's her boyfriend's last year at college.

It's just she's she's going through it. That sucks.

Yeah, Like I would be so concerned on how I'm going to hold my phone.

Yeah, I hand you know what I'm saying, Well, luckily you have all kinds of contraptions for that life and whatever else.

Oh, I gotta send my girl to tripodism because like, oh.

Yeah, how on earth would you make a TikTok bruh?

I would just be like, cut the hand off, right, just give me something else, like I'm not I cannot be stealed like that, like my makeup, my hair right.

It's amazing how you take that for granted, honestly, Like you take for granted that you're gonna have use of your hands in arms. My mom fell recently and has to have shoulder surgery, and I believe it's her left arm, but she's left handed. Whatever they can either way, you know, she basically can't move it until she gets this thing operated.

And it's the same deal.

Like and this woman goes hard in the paint all day every day, like she's constantly moving doing stuff. Yeah, and you don't realize, you know, honestly, like you don't think about it. I mean because you just I don't know. They're just there, they're alwa, it's always working. That's the reason that I don't go skiing, by the way, or like other sorts of athletic activity, because because now, like when i'm you know, when you're a teenager, you're twenty or something, and you fall, you know, there's a good chance you'll just bounce right back.

Now, in her case, didn't happen.

But like now if I fall and I'm gonna tear any cl or like break a hand or something, you know what I mean, Like, it's so I don't I don't know. That's that's one of the many because I don't leave my home.

See, you're smart for that. It's so cute.

Though her roommates they decided, okay, now who's better at makeup and who's better at hair?

Because when she does get her cast, she's going.

To go out because she hasn't been because she doesn't want to get bumped by like a drunk at the bar. So one roommate's going to do the hair, one's going to do the makeup. They're writing on her little calendar for her. So that was sweet to see. But one of the roommates is getting a boob job zoom, and Mela is supposed to help her recover, so she might need her cast sooner than later.

But wow, praise up for Mike. What a lot of reconstruction going on.

If you put all the girls in the house together, it's one body, apparently.

I'm like, we got three limbs, girl, nothing can stoppos.

But she did use chopsticks with her left hand at dinner, and.

I was so proud of her. I was like, you're you're a genius. Okay, I might even.

Do that with my right let alone. Yeah, we have to make the chapsticks for Jason when we go out, you know, the little little salt or the little sugar pat rubber
