Eva Cox reminisces about the important work that the honourable Susan Ryan (AO) did throughout her life in the public service. She was the first woman from the ALP to serve in cabinet, and was notably involved in the creation of the Sex Discrimination Act 1984, and the Affirmative Action (Equal Opportunities in Employment) Act 1986. Eva speaks about the optimism she had and drive to make big changes - working diligently behind the scenes to improve the lives of women across Australia.
