Whether you’re longing to be a mum, missing your mum, caring for your mum, dealing with a complex mother-daughter relationship, a tricky mother-in-law dynamic, or a single mum... It’s a day that can put all of that under a microscope and really illuminate the pain. Lu opens up about how, in the wake of her divorce, Mother’s Day, and other big, celebratory moments now come with an undercurrent of sadness. BB shares what it’s been like stepping into the role of legal guardian for her mum following a dementia diagnosis. The girls also share how they’re marking the day together this year, complete with a full-blown boycott of the whole damn thing.
