When Rugby League player Jaime Chapman was growing up, she didn’t have any NRLW players to look up to. In fact, her dad helped her make her own Sevens team full of young girls, just so she could keep playing footy.
Fast forward to 2020, and Jaime made her NRLW debut with the Dragons and hasn’t looked back since. Chappo's gone on to play in two NRLW grand-finals, represent the Indigenous All-Stars and make 8 state of Origin appearances, including in 2024 when she scored THAT 85m solo try.
A proud Kamilaroi woman, Jaime shares what it means to represent her mob, why being a role model for the next generation of women is so important, and what Strength Your Way means to her as a Rockwear ambassador.
We hope you enjoy this episode, thanks to Rockwear.
