The Boilermakers last loss was a flashback to last season when they were upset by another double-digit seed in St. Peters. Purdue got off to such a strong start because their star players experienced a huge bump in skill from last season, but once teams were able to adapt, they didn't have that same advantage. The IU Hoosiers just didn't play like a team that wanted to be there against Miami. The team didn't take advantage of what is likely their last season before a hard reset.
