Two Israeli embassy staff — a young couple — were shot and killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC. Police say the suspect, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez of Chicago, approached a group of four people and opened fire without warning. The man was later detained inside the museum after reportedly chanting “Free, free Palestine.” Authorities say there was no prior intelligence of an imminent threat. One of the victims had recently purchased a ring and planned to propose to his partner.
