Clinton Maynard has slammed the state government's slow rollout of promised speed limit reforms after being stuck doing 80km/h in a deserted roadwork zone.

Despite a "big song and dance" about new legislation six months ago, Maynard argues it shouldn't take years for common sense to prevail on our tollways.
