As we mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we are shining the spotlight on women who are breaking barriers and opening doors in fields. Joining us is Professor Eunice Gogo Mphako-Banda, a Professor of Mathematics at the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Director of the South African Mathematics Foundation (SAMF). Professor Mphako-Banda says her career proves that mathematical thinking creates opportunities, confidence, and long-term job security.
