IN THE BONUS with Doug Gottlieb

Doug addresses a disturbing story out of Kansas City involving the passing of multiple Chiefs fans. Doug welcomes professional sports bettor Bill Krackomberger onto the pod to break down the wagering for the two conference championship games in the NFL this weekend. Doug chooses among deserving candidates Jason Stewart deems is most annoying today. Plus, Doug gives out his Pick Of The Day.

All right, this is the Doug Gottlie Show years in the Bonus with Doug Gottli.

What Rudy away, I already. I hope you're having a great day, Jay Stu. I wanted to spend a little time on this pod talking about this story out of Kansas City which has intrigued me and I think it's a good like National twenty twenty dateline type story, but not one in which a lot of sports people have talked about. Okay, so here's the basics of the story which I'm aware of, which is apparently on January seventh, right, which I believe was the last game of the regular season that the Chiefs played. There was a guy in Kansa City who was at a rent house and he had a little party, little soiree. At some point in time, his friend, three of his friends left, and he fell asleep on the couch. Two days later, he was woken up by knocks at the door, banging at the door, people looking for his friends, only to find out they had frozen to death outside and he was unaware because he was asleep. Lauren, have you seen this story? I mean, Chase, do I send you this story? A couple of days ago. You have you read it in in depth in anyway.

Well, here's the deal. I read. I read your kind of quick like theory on it, and I thought your theory was what happened. As I'm reading the details of this thing. You have what three or four dead guys, you have one guy that was asleep for two days and there's no reason given and.

How size out right? And they have said in here it's gotta be drugs, right, And I think.

Your theory makes a lot of sense. That's because I thought we had the same incident out here in LA when when the group of people just all in their twenties just all died after they did what's the deadly drug that fentanyl? Fentanyl? Yeah, it sounds like it right.

Yeah, So okay, I again, I don't use drugs. I don't use drugs.

Okay.

So do you just spark up some fentanyl or is it like fentanyl is laced in other things.

I think they've been lacing it like in everything.

You can find it in a joint, you can find it in like your harder drugs, like people who snort cocaine.

Yeah, it's laced everywhere. Some people put it in their candy does it?

What? What does it is? It gives you a stronger high? Is that the Yeah?

I think that's what it does. And then people push it too far?

Uh Okay, so I mean, like again, let me read this story here. Family and friends of three men found dead outside of a homer in the month in Northland, Kansas want answers from police. Their bodies were in the backyard and the police have said that they're not investigating not investigating it as a homicide.

Okay.

They were found on Tuesday, January ninth. Fiance of one of the men showed up at the home start banging on the door, but no one answered. She broke it in through the basement and found one man dead on the back porch, called the police. Found the other two also deceased in the backyard. Police issued a statement the next morning saying they're found with no obvious signs of foul play. That was on the ninth. Then January eighteenth, The spokesman for the Kansay Police Department said that the next phase investigation would be the medical examiner's determination to cause a death. That would be the one thing that would drive any additional investigative steps. There's no change in liberty investigative findings. There's been no indications of foul play, So that that's got a mean right that it had to be drugs, isn't it.

Well, they would put out a toxicology report I thought was the case.

I don't think they can unless the families of the deceased allow them to do so. Like you still have your your family still has your hipporites even after you're dead.

Yeah, but I'd assume everyone would want to know, like I can't just you don't just drop dead, especially, yes.

But your friends.

But then what happens with with life insurance, what happens with you know, how they're viewed as people? You know, It's like, does anyone want to go like, eh, he died. Oh by the way, he was storting fentanyl in the backyard.

Yeah.

Is there any other possible answer?

No, unless you want to, uh just say aliens came down, abducted them and left them dead. I mean, that's that's how That's how outrageous it needs to be.

It just has to be kind of like a cult like thing, you know, where they're all like, we're just gonna kill ourselves all at the same time, because we're over it type stuff.

But if you said there's no foul player, it doesn't look like anyone was hurt and.

There's a survivor. He but he was asleep for two days. Is that a symptom of fentanyl that you just go to sleep in two days?

Well, he must have. He must have not had so much that it killed him. He must have been really really.

Close because it's used or.

Or actually what could happen is whatever they took put him to sleep, and then those guys are asleep outside and they froze to death.

Night.

So they probably went through the same thing. Only one guy was inside where it was warm and cozy. The other two guy other three guys were outside and they froze to death.

I think you just unlocked the riddle. That's a great, great theory. It's snowy outside, Yeah right, what do you guys think?

It's definitely snowing. I'm looking at pictures of the house.

It looks cold.

And remember, well remember what now now Kansas City, It wasn't intil the playoff game the next week, but remember they went through that incredibly bitter cold step.

Yeah yeah, so I mean here's.

Here's they don't do drugs. Okay, right, that that fentanyl, even when it doesn't kill you from o ding, it makes you so sleepy that you don't know you're freezing to death.

Man, oh man, it makes you so.

Sleepy you don't know you're freezing to death.

So if you go by the way this theory, I think it could be any drug that puts you out, any kind of anesthegic drug or whatever. Because fentanyl's used as a painkiller, it looks like it's it's approved by the FDA. It's a synthetic but obvious.

That makes but matth doesn't make you sleepy, does it?

I don't think so. Not painkillers. You're you're talking about something like an anesthesia drug if you're going to sleep for a day. So yeah, such something going on chemically.

Crazy, overdosing on on fentanyl. Okay, So here's signs of overdosing on fentanyl. You're breathing a slow, erratic, completely stopped. Okay, that's that's bad. Extreme lethargy, difficult to arouse, or unconsciousness. Oh there you go, right, weak pulls, bub blah, vomiting, choking, gurgling, a limp or lifeless look, a pale look skin that feels cold and clammy blue licks fingernails. Okay, so what happens is you are lethargic, barely awake, and don't even know you're freezing to death.

And there the part of the story, too, is that we didn't they all have tickets to the following week. I guess they were on the roads. I don't know.

I don't know how they had no, No, No, they were on the road. That was their home game was the next week.

This is prior to their one home game.

Yeah, so this is the last regular season game they got together.

To watch together.

Wow.

Yeah, I mean so, I guess here's the question, right, this is a real question. This is there's some sarcasm in there, but it's a real question. Let's just say you your fiance dies, okay from what appears to be some sort of drug related coma that caused them to sleep outside when it's freezing cold and then they froze to death. Right, your fiance has tickets to the Chiefs game that he's not going to. You do you sell tickets?

Heck?

Yeah, you gotta pay for the funeral.

Now, That's what I'm saying, Like, like, this is a this sounds talous, but there's a reality to it.

Or do you go to yourself You're like, well, he's not gonna use them.

I want to know what happened to those tickets? Would you go Lorena? Okay, let's say it's your fiance. Okay, you're a gigantic Chiefs fan, so the Chiefs are your tigue to you, as the Cowboys are to you in real life. But you're totally distraught over your fiance dying because they got zuited up on some ventanyl. Yeah, what do you do with the tickets?

I'd probably be a wreck if it was my fiance, I'd probably not come out of a closet for like a week straight. So I don't know.

If i'd go to the game, I think i'd cry the whole time.

Would you sell them?

Yeah, I'd get the money back?

Huh. Okay, what about you, Jay Stu? What would you do?

There's some kind of auctioning or money goes to the families or so, I don't know. Yeah, it's a really.

It's a hard one, right, Yeah, Like it was a really good ticket, but it was also freezing cold and your fiance just froze to death, So that probably has some PTSD.

I gotta know about you, Doug. Are you gonna take it? Are you gonna still go to the game?

I sell the tickets, no question. I'm cold, I'm callous, and I also don't want to put myself into I would sold the tickets. How to sell the tickets? All right, there we go, Kansas City Death Mystery, all the details.

All right, let's welcome in Bill Krackenberger, who's a professional sports better. Along with Jef Schwartz and Brian Now, he co hosts Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by Bet mgm.

Every Sunday morning.

Tune in this Sunday morning, ten am Eastern Time to take you all the way to Kickoff on Fox Sports Trader the iHeartRadio presented by Bett mgm. Crack Let's let's get to the two games, shall we. We'll start, We'll start. We'll just go in kind ofsequential order, right, and the Chiefs take on the Ravens. Let me set it up for you. Baltimore is a four point favorite. Weather appears to be holding about fifty degrees, no no rain. The totals forty four and a half. Chiefs Ravens AFC Championship Game.

Be thinking.

What I'm thinking is I've shocked this game is at three and a half. Actually, there were some minus three minus twenty five's out here in Vegas went to three and a half. Solid. Never seen this game, never seen this company's fours. I don't think it closes four. I think it goes back down to three and a half or four. Dog money. Listen, I know Baltimore's the best team in football. We know that they beat San Fran in San Fran. They looked really good last week in the second half from court. The first half, they they let the opponent hang around a little bit. Then they took care of business in the second half, which has been the opposite which Baltimore is doing. The third and fourth quarters this year looked really good. Super Bowl favorite, well, I should say I know. Actually San France the favorite to win the Super Bowl, but they're a favorite of the ASC to get to the Super Bowl. Of course, san Fran being the their opponent, that's the favorite. I like KC here with the four points. It's strictly Mahomes. I like Mahomes for four points. I've done very well with Casey the last couple of weeks, big big money line out money line underdog winners, and they've done very well for me. Of course, we know case is not the team they used to be. I understand that, but you know, Baltimore is not infallible.

I mean they I just.

Remember throughout the year they lost a couple of times the teams that shocked me, like Pittsburgh, And you know, I just think that four points is going to be the different the difference here. This game can easily land on three, can easily even land on four. So you get to push at least and h I think four points is too much for from Case in this situe.

In this situation, any any thoughts in the total?

I like under. I lean under in both games. I think, you know, they played tighter games. It seems to me when it comes to the conference championship, So I lean to the under on the forty four and a half on that game. Did not bet it, but I do lean that way.

Okay, The nightcap is on Fox Lions Niners, Niners kind of wholehume at homes in advance Lions. You could you could play out, probably outplayed the past two weeks, but find a way. And now Jared Goff, it's gonna be outside, but weather's gonna be not a factor. Seventy degrees at kickoff. San Francisco is a seven a half point favorite. The totals fifty one and a half. You've already said you liked the under. What about what about the line?

Yeah, links to the under on this game. Also, I also lean to the dog because here in Vegas we have three different seven and a half popped up around town, So I lean to the taking the seven and a half points here also, and I'm only going off of one performance, which I normally don't do. Our eyes played tricks on us week to week, so we don't want to just go off last week's games. But I just didn't see Purty as this MVP type guy the last few games, and sure enough last week they speaking of teams that barely got there. I thought Green Bay should actually won that game, so San France shouldn't even be in the spot. Luckily enough, they are in the spot. But I just don't see them being seven and a half. Now, I'll even call it this. It's minus seven minus twenty at most shops. Like I said, we have three seven and a half that popped up here in Vegas. I don't know. It just seems like too many points. Or for Detroit with their big offensive output. I see them hanging in there. And you know, listen, this year, out of any year, I've said it in this space, the parody in the NFL. Any given Sunday, any any team can and will win, and this is no exception here. I like the points here. I actually even throw a couple of props in this game this morning. I bet Hittle under four and a half receptions laid a dollar in a quarter, and I bet McCaffrey under thirty seven and a half receiving yards. Also, there's two bets I made up the under on. I don't know if they're going to be throwing to these guys as much having success. I mean that throwing. After what I've seen last week, I just think that I lean to the under I lean to the under in these props, and I lean to the underdog. So a lot of unders here for me.

Okay, what about MVP till hasn't been announced. A lot of people think it's Labar Jackson. Is it worth throwing any money down.

On anybody not on that?

But now you mentioned that dog, there's a good here's a good way to attack the super Bowl. So you can actually bet right now, you can bet Lamar Jackson to be the super Bowl. Now this is the super Bowl MVP. Now that that's a better way to attack the games, I'm sorry, the super Bowl. Sometimes you can you can bet the quarterbacks. Usually the quarterback is the MVP. So you can get about two to one on that right now on super Bowl MVP. And I kind of like that. I like getting I like getting his odds at two to one and the years that they're not going to be two to one underdog if they, you know, get to the super Bowl, which they're supposed to the four point favorites. Theyre supposed to get to the super Bowl. You know, they're not going to be a two to one underdog even if they play San Fran. Projections are one one and a half point underdog versus San Fran. I just think that's a good way to attack that. Now you could bet you could get Jackson to be the Super Bowl MVP and therefore hopefully he is the MVP of the game, which he probably will be. I mean, the guy's had one hundred yards rushing last week, scheduled to have sixty five and a half over into this week. I'm thinking he would be the MVP if they win the game.

Yep, I like it.

I like all of the analysis and all of the smart way of looking at trying to invest our money. Bill Krackenberger. Check him out Sunday morning. Hey, Sunday Morning on Fox Sports Radio, the iHeartRadio app. Thanks much for joining us.

Thanks buddy.

You be sure to catch live editions of The Doug Gottlieb Show weekdays at three pm Eastern noon Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio App.

Let's get to what the Fox says and now.

Say.

Here's Colin Cowder talking about Patrick Mahomes.

The power of Patrick Mahomes is become really unique. He's getting Andy Reid national TV commercials. He's made a third round tight end out of since a superstar. And by the way, Taylor Swift would have no idea who Travis Kelsey is if he had a hamineggor at quarterback like Kenny Pickett and made thirty two catches a year with one touchdown every other year. Sorry, she wouldn't. Just the association with Patrick Mahomes is making people rich in America. There's pro athletes and then there's stars, and there's a very small handful of superstars and then rarely do ours. Lebron and Mahomes feel like they go global, and Mahomes feels like that now. Now, the NFL's push into Europe the last decade has certainly helped. But some of it maybe is also Taylor Swift. A lot of eyes now on the Chiefs. Some of it the modern social media a TikTok an Instagram, but all of it happened, happens because of Patrick Mahomes, and he reads commercials the emergence seven years ago, eight years ago of Travis Kelcey. It works because of one thing. The greatest quarterback in the league and the greatest six years stretch by any quarterback of all time, six years nothing like it.

Seriously, I completely agree with Colin this. I've been saying this for really, even going back to last year. Is we're watching the greatest of all time play and there's really nothing He hasn't shown the ability to do outside of I guess, now, can you go to a Super Bowl and win an AFC Championship game on the road, So that's another hill he can conquer. But yeah, it's really crazy how incredible this guy has been and the partnership with him named Reid has been. And you know this is and there's a certain Brady aspect to it, right because people forget that Brady's best team went undefeated, lost in the Super Bowl, then he got hurt the next year didn't play with that same group, so we didn't really see what the we saw what the ceiling was, but the ability to be consistent be there when he didn't play the next year and they still won eleven games. For Mahomes, his teams have progressively gotten worse in terms of talent. I would say the same thing for Brady on some level two. But it's gonna be interesting to see how this thing evolves as he makes more and more money, redes his contract time and again, and they try and get him some better pieces because they've gotten here in spite of not because of the surrounding offensive weaponry, especially a wide receiver. This is Keishaan Johnson talking about Lamar Jackson.

This is it.

I mean, he's got to take it to the next level. And I'm sure he's he is willing and ready and able to do that. And it's gonna be a tough out because it's Patch Mahomes. But defensively, he's got a solid, sound defense. He's got weapons on the perimeter. Now they still could run the football. And then when you look, is Mark Andrews's gonna be available? Is he coming back to help some things out? And he knows that there are people out there that are waiting to put sin and say, oh, he's two and four in the postseason. Now he can't get over the hump. So you move a goal post in these situations, right, It starts, well, can he win the division? Can he win a playoff game? Can he advance into the division around Oh, then they move it a little bit more so, Well, he's never been in an AFC championship game, So that goalpost keeps moving and moving and moving. And then if he wins, it's like, can you win the Super Bowl? And then if he loses, that thing says, well he's two and four now he poor poor Lamar, he can't get over.

The hump and he knows all of that pressure.

I don't know.

I don't think the goal posts have moved very much for Lamar. I don't think he probably didn't get the respect he deserved when they beat the Titans a couple of years ago. He played well the second half, very average in the first half last week, But like, let's see what you do now and again I have said this, Lamar continues to impress me with his improvement. But this is a game where and I get it, like crazy things can happen, where you have drops and fumbles and things that you had nothing to do with that can affect the overall outcome of the game. But if you line up to fifty three man rosters, Baltimore is completely healthy and more talented. And part of it is where he is in his contract. This is fifth year option. The new contract doesn't kick in, so they're still able to spend fifteen million on Odell Beckham Junior. They're still able to go out and make, you know, the other moves that they've made over the past two years to load up this roster. This is a really, really good roster. He's playing with the top five defense He's had a top five defense virtually every year he's been there. This is probably the last year he has that level of overall support just because of the amount of money that'll be making next year. So I I think the challenge is still the same. Whin legit playoff games, get to a super Bowl and you're on a higher plane in terms of how you're viewing the sport. Make an a mistake about it. They are four points. Feels a little light in terms of how big a favorites they should be, especially playing at home considering the talent disparity between the two teams. This is Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn talking about Bill Belichick.

So Belichick is sitting looking around, going okay, so I got nothing else lined up? And then it comes to find out that not only is Belichick not going to be the guy in Atlanta, and it's going to be Raheem Morris, the defensive coordinator from the LA Rams who does have previous experience. But there was a thought that, well, maybe Belichick just didn't see eye to eye with Rich McKay, the CEO there, And now it turns out, according to Adam Schefter, that they're not even reporting back to Rich McKay. Under this new structure, they'll be general manager. Terry Fawn and Rahee Morris now report to Arthur Blank, not Rich McKay.

So now I'm trying to figure out.

It's still played a role. I mean, look, Schefter has his side of things. We kind of heard Albert Breer report about his side of it. The experience between Rich McKay and Raheem Morris previously, and those two have known one another, played a big role in it as far as their comfort. It largely comes down to if Bill Belichick was going to be the head coach, Rich McKay and him, they've had their past. It is what it is. But everyone would be working underneath Bill Belichick. That's the reality of that structure, and that just wasn't going to fly with Rich McKay, with Terry Fondo, how the organization would work.

Look, my belief is that as much as Belichick would come in and there's gonna be a negative connotation to a guy who doesn't have a job dictating how he wants the next job. Look like, when you're seventy and you don't have a lot of time, you don't have a lot of patience for people to question how you've done what you've done. Is it fair to question it based upon you know, some of the players selections they've made recently. Of course, Hey, but but Belichick's like, look, I've been doing this twenty five years. Look at the success. There's really no questioning me. And I can't question him either. So I actually think that while he has a healthy ego and that's probably kept him from getting hired, you also at that at this point in time in your life, you have to know who you are now, how you're gonna work your best. If this is gonna be your last job, what's the point in taking it and telling people you're okay with something you're not okay with.

That's what the fox said, What does the fund say? All right, let's find out who are what's annoying Jason Stewart.

And now it's your annoying.

Hey, Doug the I watched Jeopardy overy night. I love Jeopardy. I'm not very good at it, but I like watching it, and so I saw this in real time the other night, and I'm going to tell you what annoys me about it. This is a Jeopardy contestant answering a question, all just beautiful for twelve hundred.

Please this Saint Louis Cardinal's Great slugged his seven hundredth home run in twenty twenty two, his last season in Major League baseball, Lloyd.

Who is the wretched Albert Poohols?

Wow?

Yes, the answer is correct.

I can't speak to the adjective go cobs.

So this is when he said the wretched Albert Poohols. I proked up, like, whoa, this guy's talking shit on Jeopardy and it's sports and it's great. Yes, And then he let me down when he revealed that he's a Cubs fan, So it.

Was kind of why that's great?

It was, but it was an act of like reverence. I was hoping he was an Angels fan and he was going to make a commentary about how much he stole the Angel's money, and that would have been so much more. Meteor. That's what you know? Annoys me about that.

I understand. Good, I guess I understand. I don't really understand, but I'll say that I understand.

Now. This is a good one. Skip Bayless said this on his podcast.

I have covid once again for my second time. I have COVID maybe if you want to be a little more in depth about it. I caught cowboy COVID last week. My theory is that the Dallas Cowboys destroyed me to such a point, to such a depth, that they shredded my immune system, just the way my defense got shredded by Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.

Now, now when I say this was great, I didn't mean it's great that skip as COVID not being six sucks. But I will say that the what was that? What do you call that? The FDA, I know they've approved a shot for Eagles COVID and Brown's COVID, but I don't think they have a shot for cowboy covid.

Doug Well, Coby covid is long covid because it comes back every year.

It's been around since ninety five.

Yeah, it really has. It's it's debilitating, but it's also preventable. All you have to do is not actually root for the cowboys, you know. So that's the ultimate in terms of vaccination. Just root for a legitimate organization that has the chance to not let you down on a yearly basis.

So you're saying social distance orself from the Cowboys. Yes, yeah, that's a good one. So this really sucks.

It's been working since the mid nineties. I don't know what people are looking.

For, you know, Oh that's good. Kobe Bryant died four nights four years ago today. Just awful and it's annoying he is not around. I grabbed my most my favorite quote from Kobe and it kind of sums him up perfectly. Here he said, at some point when we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, that we are short short changing ourselves. My brain it cannot process failure. It will not process failure because if I have to sit there and face myself and tell myself you are a failure, I think that is almost worse than diet. And a lot of people might say that, you know, I can see Lebron James saying that, but I just don't think you'd ever mean it. But I truly believe Kobe feels that way. There was nothing that it was going to get in the way of him achieving and succeeding. And it's annoying that he's no longer with us. Here on the fourth anniversary of his death.

It's really sad, and you know you know this, and I think listeners know this. My daughter knew everybody on that helicopter. Both my daughters knew most everybody on it, but my daughter Harper. And it sucks because a couple of things. One like, she was really close with her best friend, Ellis Altabelli, died in the helicopter crash, and she as much as she loves all the people on that ill fated helicopter crash. Kobe was such a big part of the sports world, and really he crossed over so much that sometimes with other people and their deaths get diminished. The other part too, it is I didn't like Kobe the player, and I didn't like a lot of the persona when he was a player. I genuinely liked what he had become as a human being and as a representative of like the kind of former players and who he was in business. And we got to be friendly, maybe even friends, So that version of Kobe, right, and those of us who were around in Los Angeles when he first came up, and then he went through I want to be rapper Kobe, and then he went through all these different machinations. What he'd come out the other side was a guy who I think everybody really liked as a girl dad, as a leader in the business world, as a guy who just kind of evoked kind of class and understanding of all the things working around him. So yeah, if there's one thing's annoying and we don't get a chance to appreciate that version of Kobe, because it was probably the best version yet.

And you know he passed, you know, right before everything shut down. The world has changed so much socially since his passing that, like more than ever, I think we need Kobe because he I just don't think he would have fallen for all the just nonsense that we've experienced socially, and and I'd love to hear his thoughts on some of the gen z athletes that do their shit on social media. So it it would be great to have him as just an old school kind of commentator in this strange world. But let's do because we can't hear it. Oh, actually, find tell me who's most annoying today. Is it Skips covid, cowboy Covid? Is it the poolhole satyr or Kobe not being around?

Kobe not being around is sad. Let's fight.

Let's let's let's let's laugh this up because we can't.

Why are we doing this?

I do.

Because we can. Cam Newton was on the Brandon Marshall on that podcast. Now there there's an obvious reason why we have it on because we can. But you need to listen close and we'll probably have to run it back. There's a very inappropriate nickname that he just slides in here. It's very sly, by the way, very sly. Listen for it.

I can see Jason McIntyre. I hope I can see Brock parody. I hope I can see, you know, to a tongue of a loa, because unlike a lot of people who just throw a grenade to leave shit, I'm pulling up with a nine.

Did you catch it, Doug, I did the Jason McIntyre.

No, well, McIntyre, he said, he said straight. He called he called him Brock parody, which which is really funny. And then he's the nickname for Tua is Tua tongue her Belowa.

Play that again, Brock and see Jason McIntyre. I hope I can see brock parody. I hope I can see you know, to a tongue of a loa because unlike a lot of people who just throw a grenade to leave ship, I'm pulling up with a knife.

I think I thought, he said to a tongue about low Okay, I thought of the the Brock parody and the Jason. How Jason McIntyre got in that list, I'm not really sure.

Well, he had a back and forth with McIntyre recently, but I know that it's been confers like that. That's a thing on Twitter, that tongue her below. Uh. I guess he's actually called him that before, and that's his nickname for him.

That's hysterical. Why can we play it for you? Because we can. Let's get to our pick of the day. Okay, sir, the bet is to you.

It's time for the pick of the.

So I get to do these games. They're super fun college basketball games on TV on radio. This one's a radio game company called Compass Media Networks. We do what we do a lot of Big Ten games. We do the Big Ten Tournament. Tonight, you got Michigan State. Okay, who uh, preseason, huge expectations and.

Uh, you know they've they've been up and down.

Michigan State taken on Wisconsin Wisconsin probably the most surprising team in the Big Ten, maybe surprising team in the country. They're actually in first place in the Big Ten. Half came up on Purdue, a Purdue team that they have not played yet and they only play once in conference play. They play them on the road, So you got they're gonna have to build up in order to win the league in the regular season, have to build up a little bit because you won't have expectations they win that game. But they don't have to go back to Michigan State as well, So schedule kind of working in the favor, if you will, of Wisconsin in terms of trying to win the league. A right, as for tonight, the line is Wisconsin minus three and a half taken out a Michigan State club who doesn't shoot the three at a volume of the rest of the league. Otherwise, like the numbers are almost all the same, right points four, seventy six and seventy six points against sixty five and sixty seven. Actually Wisconsin surrenders more points per game, Michigan State better at rebounding, more assists, and they've won three in a row, and there are a three and a half point dog at Wisconsin. I think it's a super close game, but I think it's one in which wis consin wins, Wisconsin covers. Give me the Badgers at the Coal Center to win and cover tonight.
