What up with you?
Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio Coming to you from the tyrag dot com studios tyrat dot com. Well we get there, unmatch selection, fast, free shaping, free roadass protection. We're ten thousand recommend stllar tyrat dot com. It's the way tire buying should be. Hey, how you doing? What's going on? Was good? What's good with you? So the news of the moment is Antonio Pierces out as a head coach in Las Vegas. Remember he was the intermed coach going back a year and a half ago. The guys liked him, they hired him. They then later hired Tom Teleusco as a GM and Tom LESCo was told when he got the job that he had to he had to keep him for the year. And like, I don't think Telesco was out in any way to get him. It's just hard when the coach is hired before the GM and the coach is a guy who's again I can speak to this inexperienced. You got to surround yourself with really, really experienced people and have a vision for how it's going to look, what the progress is going to look like. And pro sports is no joke, especially the Raiders. And I don't think he was out, you know he was. He didn't have a quarterback. It's makes it a really hard job, you know, when your answer is a guy who's been a perennial backup that everybody likes, and an Aidan O'Connell who had some talent but drafted by a previous regime. And you know any time he played poorly was he's just a rookie. I don't know. The thing is he didn't have a quarterback in that division. You probably didn't have a chance going against some ridiculous quarterbacks, some ridiculos. This coaches, we also do this thing just so you're aware. We make it about your division. And I said this, we had middlekoff on last hour. It's so not about your division as much as it's about who you go against. I remember you only you play six games in your division, but you play eight games out of division against you know. And in the case of the NFC North, they played the NFC West and the AFC South. Those are the two best divisions to play this year. But similarly, the Chargers and the Broncos and the Chiefs all made the playoffs and they played relatively chased obviously most difficult schedule. First place schedule. You play a schedule based upon, you know, in your your non divisional matchups and your non crossover matchups. You play a if you're a third place team, a third place team from another division as well. I don't know, I'm not crazy. Stunned, didn't feel like he was the long term answer. But anyone who says that Antonio Pierce will never be a head coach again, there was a lot of Dan Campbell to Antonio Pierce. Remember Dan Campbell got the job as the interim coach of the of the Bronco excuse me, of the Dolphins. Dan Campbell was tight in the NFL, and it might have been when Tony Sparano was let go. I think it was Dan what was the name of the he was with the He was the offensive coordinator of the Packers, and then he went to the Dolphins as their head coach.
Joe Philbin.
Yes, was that when Dan Campbell got the job or was Sperano got fired and he got the job?
I can't remember, Gosh.
I like point is, It's okay, neither can I. The point is that Dan Campbell got the job as interim and a lot of people liked him. He didn't get it. Circle back around. Then he got the job with the Lions years later, and obviously he's been amazing with the Lions.
In twenty fifteen, Dan Campbell was the interim head coach. He replaced Philman.
They then hired Matt Gates Adam Gase, Adam.
Gase, Adam Yeah, I know Matt, but his brother Matt was a big part of that.
Yeah. So again, you know, an Tony Pierce has a guy. People like him. He's got a realness to him. So there's that with the Dan Campbell, but didn't have a quarterback, probably didn't have a really good chance. Brock Powers has turned out to be an excellent rookie. But they have a lot of you know, when you when you jettison your big name wide receiver mid year, it was that thing was over. So I don't know. The Raiders are a fascinating story because they've never had cash when they were in Oakland. Once they to Vegas, I don't know if they're flush with cash, but they have a lot. This business is much better for Mark Davis and the Raiders, so they do have the money to make it happen, but they have been able to find the right fix.
Let me ask you guys this question. Okay, yesterday I think we said that it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Mike Rabel will be the next SAD coach with the Patriots. They have to go through the process, minority interview. All that. Doesn't this put pressure on the Patriots to secure Vrabel's desire because Tom Brady is going to be in Rabel's here right for this.
One would think, one would think, But again I don't know. You know, I saw Diana Rassini's report that Tom Brady will have a big say in the matter. But like, again, why why couldn't they get Brabel? Yeah, it'd be great. They get Brabel, absolutely go after it. I just I don't know how far along they are with the Patriots, but I would guess that the Raiders would be really, really into it. You know. Again, part of it is that gms like to hire people they've worked with before and there's a familiarity there, and the last time they had anybody Patriots in Las Vegas it didn't work out well. Doesn't mean te LESCo wouldn't do that, doesn't mean that Mark Davis wouldn't do that, but just we have to be realistic about, Okay, who does it fit with?
This is the other part of why Rabel is so intriguing is because I don't think that they are going to be many Belichick disciples getting jobs anymore. I think that girod Mayo's going to have to go and be a defensive coordinator somewhere and end up again trying to get another opportunity as a head coach. But the Raiders had tried the Patriots thing. In fact, they went full out Patriots thing by hiring Josh McDaniels and Dave Zigler to run their front office. And if McDaniels as the head coach, and so they punt on that theory. And Rabel isn't Belichick because he ran his own deal in Tennessee, which also would if you're in New England and you think about it, you're like, why are they still sticking with former Belichick disciple? And it's all because of what Rabel has done and did with his time at Tennessee. But I mean to think, like, hey, we want the Patriot way. Well A, it doesn't seem to work if it's anybody, but Bill Belichick and the Raiders have already tried it and went to the Max to do it. You had a partnership deal with Zigler and Josh McDaniels, and it didn't work, So that would be interesting for Brady to try to bring that in again. My point is that Rabel isn't like the others, But still the Raiders had tried this a couple of years ago and decided to let's move away from it. So let's have Antonio Pierce then take over the rest.
So yeah, I think there's the thing. You know, there's we all think it's Vrabel. Okay, But again, if you're if you are, if you're Tom Brady, and let's say to Tom Brady does have a does have a seating the table, which he he will in terms of discussion, Rabel's got to be the first guy. You suggest who else has he worked with that's had some sort of success around the NFL. You know that that isn't Belichick. Now, I don't think Bill O'Brien is the guy's getting back getting that job.
No worked with Byron Leftwitch, who's interviewing with New England, I believe today.
Yeah, Byron Left which was the name that I was thinking, But I don't know their relationship because Left which was let go won? Was he let go by Tampa? Remember Left which had that thing where he didn't want to work with the GM in Jacksonville And that's why he took himself out of that one. So that was a that was a weird one. Could Flores be the guy? I will tell you honestly, And I haven't talked up. I'll just you guys know I'm friends with Tom Telesco. Haven't talked with Tom since all this stuff went down. I do know that Telesco was really impressed by Brian Flores. He interviewed him with the Chargers several hires ago. I don't remember which hire it was. It was when he had not maybe been a coordinator for a year or hadn't been a coordinator yet, But he hired him, but he was like he was the first one to tell me, like that, dude's give me a head coach. He's like this, he's not ready for this one, but that dude's give me a head coach probably in a year or two. And so I would say that guy, that's the one that you might think of. That's the one you might think of. Okay, got another question for you, what do you do now with brock Party?
One last thing? One last thing? A month ago, Dion Sanders, I think he had Peers on a podcast or the other way around. Deon Sanders pleads it with Antonio Piers to draft should Dour. Are we forgetting Deon Sanders in this whole thing? Is there any way that they hire him and trade up or try to secure should Dour?
I mean, could you do it? You would?
Uh?
It feels like you're doing the same thing on repeat. You're doing a more experienced Antonio Piers. Doesn't mean it doesn't work. Again, all I can do is take Dion at his word, and his word is like he doesn't fit with the NFL. I don't think coaching your son in the NFL works, especially if he's a quarterback. I just don't unless I mean the quarterback. He's got to be so good. Like I don't think that works. Don't think it works. Now. As far as the Raiders and Shoudre, I think that could work. They need a quarterback badly, But I don't think.

Doug Ottlieb Show Fox Sports Radio coming to you from the diiraq dot com studios. Dan Byer has his buyer's remorse. I cannot wait to hear it. It's so good, so thorough. We'll get to that in a moment. First, though, rock Purty was asked, we want to talk about two guys, quarterback and a coach and what happens to him next year. Now, brock Purty is under contract for one more season, part of that rookie deal being mister irrelevant, very light money. Here's what brock Purty said when he's asked about a potential contract extension.
I mean, everybody's different, just without the timing of you know, getting something done and whatnot for me and I want to obviously get it done. If that's an opportunity, need to be able to get that done quick, that'd be great, just so we can get back for Phase one, get after it with the receivers and our team, and you know, just continue to grow, because man, we all got to to grow together. We got to come close and learn and and just be the best versions of ourselves as fast as we can. And Phase one is my mind of OTA is coming back, getting all the guys back and and let's roll. Let's get after this offseason together. And so but with that being said, everybody's timing is a little different and stuff. But you know, for me, at the end of the day, I want to win. I want to win for this organization and everybody here. And I'm not I'm not the kind of guy that wants to have any kind of drama associated with anything. I'm here for this organization, for my teammates in the locker room, and you know, I want to be.
Very professional with that. I have no doubt he'll be professional. I have no doubt that he doesn't feel like he needs to be nor should he be the highest paid guy in the league. But if you want to be there for ot as you want all those guys with you. This is a really easy conversation. Hey man, let's keep you like I don't know in thirties, three year deal guaranteed, let's go. The problem is that the agents that egoes getting the way and you get to the forties, the fifties. None, in no way, this guy's making that. No, no, no, this is what works for us, okay. Then there's Mike McCarthy, all right, or Mike McCarthy his contract is actually up with the Cowboys. Here's Jerry Jones when he was asked Sunday about Mike McCarthy potentially doing interviews elsewhere. But then I would say go talk. I really would go talk. So it sounds like you I just let zee do that, gotcha. Well, I don't want anybody here.
That's not healthy to have somebody around it wants to be someplace else. Really, it's not.
Okay. And then this is Mike McCarthy when he was asked about it.
I don't like to talk about myself that way, but I'll just be clear. I'm a winner. I know how to win. I've won a championship. I want a championship in this building. And that's who I am. So we'll see where it goes.
Okay, he wants to win, and Jerry's saying, go talk, go talk to somebody else. That is the weirdest negotiat. Like if you want him to be your head coach and just go, hey, let's like, let's get a deal. Let's get this. If you don't, then don't have him as your head coach. You know, look, brock Perty I think is a good quarterback. He's fine, he's fine, but his like, hey, I don't know timelines. I just want to get this thing done. Fine, let's get it done. Mid thirties. I don't care what Daniel Jones got. That was a disaster of a contract in the moment it was signed. And then for the Cowboys go talk. You know who does know what all that means? What's really going on? Our next guest, Matt Mosley, joins this calumnist for Fox Sports, go host to the Doomsday podcast that offers up inside information on the Dallas Cowboys. Most he worked in Dallas for years. Now you got the podcast what is Jerry Jones doing here? By inviting Mike McCarthy to go talk to other people who might be interested in hire him.
Well, I mean, you've been watching him for years yourself. I think this is Jerry's way. I think Jerry would be okay with him moving along. Jerry hates to fire people, and I know people think, well, Jerry, really, he's fired plenty of people. He hates it, and he really does. And it's given any opportunity anybody's ever been fired by the Cowboys generally is given like a month's head heads up, and he tries to let him go get a job somewhere else. So he kind of hate and so in this case, of course he's not having to fire him. His time is ending. But it's like Jerry's in this weird standoff right now. And you know, only Jerry could have a situation where his coach goes seven and ten after a disaster of playoff performance, and that coach have leverage over Jerry. And that's where he is. And that's what's funny that he has such a reputation for being a great negotiator and Dak has now had him over the barrel for two huge contracts. Zeke got him on one CD got him bad. He like, point me to a time the last time you like want a negotiation. He just gets beat up and it even even McCarty has him over the barrel somehow here.
It's weirdest deal ever. Okay, so what ultimately gets what ultimately.
Happens, Well, I think I think Mike McCarty offers comfort. The problem with this is Jerry wants to do like some weird incentive based deal and he hates the thought of giving him like a three year extension because he could be right back here next you're ready to fire him. And one thing he hates even more than that is paying someone not to coach. So you know this thing about like I'm a little surprised that the Cowboys didn't respond to the Bears right away, like there was some kind of like no, we're not like unless you're going to talk. Because again I think Jerry it's like it's like this thing offers him a little cover to move on. And so you know, it's hard to ever predict with Jerry. Anything could happen here, but I will tell you I think kind of privately he would be okay moving on here.
Why has I mean now is Dak came out with strong strong support? Why is Dak sewing to McCarthy.
Well, because he sort of he just doesn't want to have to learn something, you know, go a whole different way. It's like it's like you'd rather be even if it's not going great, you'd rather be with someone you kind of trust, you understand, And much like Jerry, Mike knows that with this contract, he knows he needs to praise Dak at all times. He always has Dak's back, even when Dak's playing poorly. And so when someone's been that loyal to you, you want to show loyalty to him. That said, what's Dak going to do if they fire him? I mean, you know he's going to make sixty million a year and he's going to embrace the next coach. So I will say that sort of lobbying has no influence on Jerry. I'll tell you who does have an influence on Jerry or like anybody from the outside, we always think most of these owners like, okay, who are they talking to? Who are they talking to? With Jerry often he makes big decisions from people like Barry Switzer And you're like, well, Barry like eighty something living in Norman, Well, sure he is. But those old free ens of Jerry's he likes to talk to those people and kind of let you know and see what they think. So, I mean, again, that's where this thing is kind of wild. He did mention when I asked him the other day, because I asked him, I said, what's your list? Look, do you have a list if this thing doesn't work out? And he said, yeah, yeah, I always have a list, And he mentioned that there might be a couple of Super Bowl winning coaches on that list, and Doug, I mean, if you look at who's out there on that, that would be Pete Carroll, It'd be John Gruden, would be two names that would come to mind that have won Super Bowls. So I mean, that was just one little clue that he dropped. I mean, it's like he wants, honestly, the most comfortable thing is to bring back McCarthy, but he's having trouble selling it to the fan base. He doesn't know exactly and the only way he thinks he could sell it to the fan base is to put him on like a you know, like an incentive based one or two year deal, and McCarty's not going to do that. So anyway, Jerry's Jerry's I actually lost all leverage here, and if he wants McCarthy back, he's going to have to sign him to a three or four year deal.
That is that is absolutely absolutely crazy. Anyway Dion gets in there.
He loves him. I mean, I I think I wouldn't he wouldn't be shocked if Dion was on the phone with him, like maybe providing some guidance. But I don't think Jerry's going to do that. In fact, Jerry kind of as much as he loves him. And I asked Jerry this season about Dion or maybe last season, and he just went off on I mean, just like you know, he's like a son to me kind of thing. But I don't think he wants to go that route. And and quite honestly, he didn't think Dion's college experience really. I mean, I think Jimmy's the one guy that he was ever going to do that with when he was starting out, and none of these college guys or any of these young assistants seem like none of those things make sense to Jerry. Jerry Hire is always the onliest young assistant he ever hired, really was Garrett. He brought in Campo because he knew him, but he also knew Garrett. So when there's a when there's an opening here, you have to look at who his friends are and like who he's close to, Like if Mike Holmgren could still coach, that's who he would hire. He were you know that he loves those peoples, that all those people that are almost like his contemporaries. So look at the Phillips higher. I mean, I was like this in his mind, that was like the safest hire ever. And he had to decide between Wade and north Turner, like just all those names or who he immediately goes to. So it's but there's no way he would hire like Ben Johnson or one of these hot young liam you know, there's none of those guys, there's not the only one that would have a shot would be Kellen Moore because he's been here. Jerry really values any sort of attachment he has to these guys, and he does have the previous you know, he's worked with Kellen, so that would be that would be the only sort of young, hot assistant that he would even consider.
Doug Gottlieb show here on Fox Sports Radio the Doomsday Podcast is their host is nother than Matt Mosley joining me on the Doug Gottlieb Show here on Fox Sports Radio, Dak it's like a I mean, again, this is another one Jerry can't walk away from. Tried to go like, hey, let's let that contract expire, ends up redoing the contract. Now they're stuck with Dak. How does everybody in that building feel about Dak the new contract coming off yet another injury.
I mean, they just don't have any choice but to support him. I mean, I'm not saying he doesn't have his doubters, maybe even inside the building, but publicly. When Jerry was asked, Okay, what gives you any hope? What's you give the fan base any I hope you're going to turn this thing around? And Dak was the first thing he threw out. Never Mind that Jerry pointed out the team was not playing well with Dak before he got hurt. But this is how it works. I mean, you've seen this guy forever. By the time they get to training camp, somehow he will have propped up Dak to where Dak is a top three quarterback in the NFL and people buy it. Like there are people out there that'll be like, well, yeah, I guess he is pretty great. I mean, he was not good this year. You know, obviously he's had seasons where he's thrown a lot of interceptions. Jerry. I think Jerry does secretly feel a little vindicated for waiting on Dak the Dark contract, because Jerry just wasn't ever truly certain if he was the guy. And then Dak after he gives him sixty million, goes out this year and was not playing well. So I think there's some He would never admit this publicly, but there's at least part of Jerry that would say, you know, that's why I was waiting, That's why I wasn't in such a hurry to sign him. Did you see how he was playing? But now that he signed him, what choice does he have? I mean, he can't you can't move him, you can't cut him. I mean it would cripple you, like there's no there's no thing. I mean, Dak is the starting quarterback for the next you know, three or four seasons at least.
Awesome stuff. As always, Matt Doomsday Podcast is the one you need to download. Matt Moseley's the guy. Mosty are the best. Happy to you, to you and thanks for joining us.
Appreciate it. Thanks for having me.
Doug talk to you soon, gott Leaf Show, Fox Sports Radio. Okay, we all have things we'd like to do differently, we'd like to take back, but only Dan gets to do so on the radio. Little Buyer's remorse.
Some have remorse.
I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish.
Behavior I engaged.
Come on, but there's nothing quite like Buyer's remorse, Doug.
Throughout recent years, and if you would ask your former producer Ryan Music this question, he would know the answer.
And I would say that around.
Super Bowl week, when we would travel for a Super Bowl, what I would like to do is just sit in my hotel room after the show and watch college basketball. It's when I would get into the get into hoops again. Because there was a time in my life I don't know about ten years ago or so fifteen years ago, where college basketball kind of dropped out of my life. I wasn't following it as much as I once did. Was back in and over these last couple of years have been more in than ever.
In fact, I don't know if you know this or not. I was so into college basketball.
I attended Oklahoma States home opener or season opener this year. That's how much I love college hoops. But in saying that, the team that I've watched the most this year has been the Green Bay Phoenix.
Yeah.
I'm more disappointed in myself though than I haven't been into college basketball as much as other years. And I bring this up because we have this whole NBA discussion of why aren't you interested in the NBA or what is the NBA done wrong? And I have to admit, last night I turned on you know, the buck guys were playing the Gophers on FS one in a double overtime game where both teams were I think they were trying to win, but it sure felt that times maybe both were trying to lose. Yeah, but Buck guys end up prevailing. It was fun. It was the up and down. It's the imperfection of college basketball. And you know, I'm coming off the heels where I didn't see any of the Kentucky Florida game. Tennessee and Florida play a big one tonight in the SEC. Dude can pit her on the court tonight, And I just I'm really disappointed to myself that I haven't been into college basketball as much this year outside of watching the Green Bay Phoenix in their Horizon League action.
What do you say the officiating a Saturday's game if you happen to watch that one.
The officiating on Saturday. Okay, so I tuned in with eight minutes to go in the second half, so it was a little.
Yeah, well it was. It was. It was a very close game up even in four minutes ago, was still relatively close.
But Northern Kentucky, right, yeah.
Yeah, I'll send you a couple of clips. You'll, you'll, you'll, I'm wondering, you'll, you'll probably wonder what was actually called there? This is good. Let's send you that one.
Okay.
Anyway, you know, listen, here's the good thing, a couple of things. First thing, in order to solve a problem, you have to you have a problem. Your problem is you feel bad you haven't been into it. The good thing about college basketball if you haven't been following it is most of the teams are new year to year, so whereas in years past or in college football, and some of this is still is not the same college fooball. But you'd sit down and be like, man, I like this kid, like, yeah, he's played here three years. Where you've been yet dope. Now every year you kind of have to play catch up. Like, wait, I have no idea who this kid is. Don't worry, nobody does. He played a small school last year, transferred up, so it's And I will admit this year I've watched less college basketball than ever because I just watched my own team and all the teams we play. And you're like I, you know, you almost feel bad. You always feel bad going and watching other teams.
Well, I will say this, I think people thought we were going to get a Zion like infusion with Cooper Flag happened, has not happened at all, And Duke is sitting at fourth in the country. And it's not only Cooper flag like. They've got other guys as well that are that this. It's it's not Zion R. J. Barrett's and Crewe It it is not taking to fruition Calm Harriet at Arkansas getting you know, run off the court by Tennessee. I mean that doesn't necessarily help things. I think Mark Pope at Kentucky has been one of the good stories, but there hasn't been a lot too I think grab the attention and I don't want to call myself a casual college basketball fan, because I don't feel I'm just done that. But I just I haven't been as locked in as I would have hoped. And now that we're in January, it's it's about time we do so as conference plays underway everywhere.
Yeah, so what else you got a remorse for?
That was actually basically it.
So it was the college basketball topic that I wanted to bring up.
I have remorse that I didn't get a technical foul on Saturday. So here's how it actually works. We want to like know, Okay, so my only technical foul was we're in Evansville. I didn't think we got a good We didn't play particularly well. You know, we had beaten s Iue for our first home win. We you know, we'd basically we won. What we do we win two in a row? Is that we did? I think we kind of went one to in a row. Anyway, So we go on the road in Evansville, and I thought, I, guys, one, I don't know if it's a travel We just didn't have the juice. We weren't sharp. I felt like we're a little arrogant, didn't follow skating report. Not sure how good our scout was like all things were bad, and they had been playing poorly, shooting poorly, and they caught a bit of a heater after a slow start. But it compounded the fact that, man, there was about four or five calls that were called the opposite way of us.
And you saw the one you sent me by the way, Yeah, that's ridiculous.
Yeah that was that was a travel That was a travel in a that was not a tribe.
Should hand one to be honest, hand on hip?
Yeah, I didn't think in one, but everybody else who's seen it thought and one. I got one more, this one. This is vicious contact. I'm going to show you vicious contact.
You don't go into northern Kentucky and you know you just you're not going to get those calls with the noise.
So okay, So my my first tea was I was upset at a call and I said, that's that's a that's a charge. I didn't even curse. That's a charge. But I stepped on the court. And they're very protective of the court this year because last year a couple of coaches were way too far on the court. So they use that as the excuse to give me the tea. Okay. So we're playing over the Kentucky which, by the way, beautiful arena, really nice and spacious sidelines, so there is no way I was going to mistakenly step on this court. And I just felt like, we are not getting calls, and my assistance could could slowly see that I was. I wasn't. I was losing my mind a little bit, and I'm starting to do the muttering thing, like what is what is happening here? And so finally I was about to start cursing, and I kind of got myself and I just and I have an assistant. His name is Eric Sanders, and I've known Eric played for my brother at San Diego State. His nickname iss eighth grade and eighth grade. His job is to grab me because he's gigantic. He's six foot eight and he's like a big teddy bear. And I told him like, dude, you're job is to grab me and calm me down. So he gets up and he's like coach, and I was like, should I get a tea? And he's like, I don't know. We just have a lot of press recently, Like you know, if you get a te it's gonna be on Sports Center. And then I was like, well, should I just wait and then if it gets bad again, just get run to make a big deal of it. And so they're actually like chattering about this over the last four minutes of the game, and what happens is it was like eleven to three with the call with the fouls in the second half. At some point in time, it ended up being twenty two to eight for the game. They shot twenty six street throws. We shot six. Anyway, I was sitting there going should all right, well the next bad call, and then like the last couple minutes of the game, there's no bad calls, right The game was kind of in hand. They hit three threes late, made it look worse than it actually was, and there was nothing to lose your mind over. Otherwise, you look like you're trying to make a point. Plus if you get a t you got to do it at the right time in the game because then you think you're tea gets a little jolt from it, and occasionally the officials will even it out for you afterwards. But I just couldn't get to that moment, So I have some remorse.
Over it, rightfully.
So yeah, yeah, well I didn't do it so a pocket it and they were good enough. Guys. I just disagreed with some of the calls. Press, Dan Bayer, the Man Doug.
Before we get to the quick headlines of the day, I do want to tell you this that not only does the United States and Canada also observe daylight savings so does a majority of Europe in some northern African countries. What should be noted though, is this this straight from Wikipedia on daylight savings time quote. It is a common myth in the United States that daylight savings time was first implemented for the benefit of farmers. In reality, farmers have been one of the strongest lobbying groups against daylight savings time since it was first implemented. The factors that influenced farming schedules, such as morning dew and dairy cattle's readiness to be milked, are ultimately dictated by the sun, so the clock change introduces unnecessary challenges there. It's the exact opposite. It's a myth that it's for the farmers. In fact, the farmers are like, no, thank you, no thank you. All year round. Daylight time has been adopted by the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. I don't know if people knew that, but Saskatchewan is always on daylight savings time.
What about medicine hat? What is the time zone of medicine?
Hat is medicine had in Alberta or they?
Yes, then they would have they would be in they would they would be in daylight Savings.
What about Moose Shaw?
Where is Moose John Alberta as well, Moose Jaw. No, it's in Saskatchewan. Okay, there it is? So then yeah, so then it does recognize it year round mohaw See.
Actually what's happening is And by the way, Moosehaw is just outside of Regina. Remember it's Jina, Regina. And I know that Jason Sewart thinks I'm messing around. These are actual places with our brothers to the north.
So Saskatchewan though full daylight savings. There you go all the way around, all right.
We talked a lot about Antonio Appears being fired by the Raiders. The Titans fire GM Ran Carthon today, but they're keeping head coach Brian Callahan. My personal opinion, awful mood move. And I really like Brian Callahan. I think that he should be the head coach. I just don't know why you fire your GM. Now you're going to hire a GM that's Callahan's not his guy. You're gonna have the first overall pick.
Well again that maybe maybe it is his guy. Maybe that's the thing. Yeah, maybe it is his guy that Carthon was not or Macarthon's decisions. We're calling the question.
Carthon spent big in free agency this past Yeardley and others Tony Pollard brought in. He got them all of three wins, but I think their quarterback room was the reason for that.
Yep.
David Montgomery is going to be back for the Lions for the playoff push, and a report from ESPN says the Heat have received underwhelming offers for Jimmy Butler, and Butler reportedly does not want to go to the Grizzlies or Milwaukee Bucks along with other teams.
And that Doug is the press bag, get out there and pressed.
