In what a great NFL weekend as the Lions beat up on the Vikings the playoffs are set. I actually went to another Packers game. This went a loss to the Bears. And before you go, hey, your basketball team's losing, you're rubbing off on the Packers. I've been to every home game this year for the Packers, So if you're gonna give me the blame for yesterday's loss, then what about all the o the other wins I've been to?
Ah ah ah, there you go.
T jos Manzada will join us. Got some interesting stuff going on with Rex Ryan, We got love and hate, We got so many things. But this is Black Monday, which means there's firings all over the NFL. Doug Peterson's out in Jacksonville. So the Jags, Patriots, Bears, and Jets.
Right Jets.
The Giants aren't moving off Brian Dabole, the Colts are not moving off Shane Steichen, and Robert Craft is moving off Girod.
Mayo after one year.
Matter of fact, here's Kraft addressing the media when he talked about his decision to fire Girod Mayo.
It was very hard because the personal relationship I feel for Girod and the human being he is. I felt guilty I put them in that position. This whole situation is on me. I feel terrible for Girard because I put them in an untenable situation.
Yeah again, I think it was untenable. And look, when you take over jobs, and me taking over this job is different than taking over a pro job. But hard situation, right, get the job in May. There's some other things going on which we have to get out of. What's called APR probation. The transfer portal had been opened for so long that everybody had kind of gone through a lot of the older players. We had to take younger players. You have to have a boss who's reasonable with it. I can't tell you that I've watched every snap of the Patriots playing, so I'm I'm simply gonna go by what has been written, what has been said both online and then offline, is they didn't look like they were getting better, they didn't look like they were improving, and they didn't look like they knew what they were doing. And the NFL we said this for a long time, a long time. Being a head coaches hard, I'm learning that one on the fly as well. It has nothing to do with anything other than wins and losses. Wins and losses, that's it. And you have to have an owner who has your rightfully aligned on what the expectations are. And it's got to be hard for Robber Kraft, like, what are reasonable expectations to the Patriots? Well, they don't want to be as bad as they were the year before, and then they turn around and win yesterday, which takes them out of the number one seed. I don't think he got fired because they won the game. I don't think it had anything to do with it. There were rumors he was going to be fired anyway. But the Patriots go for having one guy for over twenty years to the next guy having one year.
So it's they bring back in Elliott Wolf.
We'll see who he brings with him, and we'll see if the Patriots feel like they have the right plan in place, because they were not going in the right direction and now they're in let's start all over.
NFL is hard man and it's hard.
I mean, look, Cincinnati turns their season around, gets to eight we gets to nine wins, you know, finishes their season winning five in a row. They promptly fired their defensive coordner, which you should have fired him because they were bad, but they did get better late in the year. Six points to the Browns, seventeen points to the Steelers. Russell Wilson could do very little with him. But what this next wave looks like? You know, who gets the Bears job, because Caleb Williams has a ton of potential, Who gets the Patriots because Drake may looks like he he's got a lot of potential, and those other jobs.
You got to figure out the quarterback position. The Jags.
Obviously you have Trevor Lawrence, who only one year really has felt like the quarterback he was supposed to be. I think the Jacksonville jab might well be the best because the division is still shaky, right Colts Texans make the playoffs, you know, Titan's gonna need a new quarterback, and you got the Jags. I kind of think that's the best one. On the other hand, they have the international travel, which really wears you out. And you know, at some point, as much as we all believe in Trevor Lawrence and we've seen him perform at a high level, you know, we're talking over a half decade now football in the NFL, and he's just been an average at best quarterback for most of that time in the NFL. And then of course you have the teams make the playoffs that you'd expect, and you got the the Lions went last night. Which of these firings are most unexpected? I would say the Patriots. I'd say the Patriots something had to set off such alarm bells that this wasn't gonna work that they make that, because you don't go from a guy being there twenty plus years to the next guy being there for a year unless you really felt uneasy.
About what the future looked like. Is that fair? Jay Stu? I mean it seems to we That's where I am with it. I don't think.
I don't think you don't make that call, make that quick a firing unless you really didn't feel good about it.
Correct.
And I don't know what the official reporting is. They have to go through all the process hiring, interview with minorities and whatnot. But doesn't it seem like a fatal complayt that Mike Rabel gets that job. Isn't that why you make this firing because you're pretty confident Vrabel wants it.
I would say yes, I would say it's the old what's the Chris Rock line? A man is only as faithful as his options. And while you might say, hey, Vrabel was available last year, yeah, it was already draw Mayo's job. And when you gave Mayo a year and it didn't feel like he was changing in directions or it was going in the right direction, then Vrabel's like, you know what I want the job? Yeah, it does feel like you bring you bring Rabel home? Does feel that way? There's the way a lot. All right, we got a huge show for you today. I think we got some interesting stuff to get to. So again, the jobs that are opened, Jags, Patriots, Saints, Bears, Jets. Uh, we'll talk some Jets. Will it be Rex? Ryan talk some Bears? Who would that be? You feel like it's gotta be, you know, one of these two or three offensive minds. The Saints, man, they're they're a mess, They're lost, their mess. The Patriot it's you mentioned Rabel, and of course the Jaguars.

Doug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio Coming to you from the tyrech dot Com studios. So, I don't know, pretty obvious last night that Sam Donald was hyped up. As was pointing out in the broadcast, his misses, a lot of them were hot. Here's Donald talking about his performance after the loss.
You know, just going down in the red zone and kicking field goals. You know that's not going to cut it. I guess a good team like that, so just gotta be a lot better, you know, for myself personally, got to hit the throws and tight coverage, and you know, I gotta gotta watch this tape and learn from it and get better.
Here is Dan Campbell on the game plan against Sam Darnland the Vikings offense.
Donald is really played better and better every week. It feels like he's just continued to make this gradual climb and continue to improve. And what you really see is man when he gets the play action pass and they nudge the edges or they you know, the max protect on some of this stuff. Two the receiver routes, three receiver routes, and he can see it and has time. He's deadly and we could not allow that to happen. We didn't feel like there was any way we could. We could let him sit back there because we did think he would pick us apart. You know, if you give him that much time. We knew we needed to it needed to be the right balance of coverage and pressure.
Yeah, I think I think they did a good job of coverage and pressure. I thought the Lions were expertly coached. Aaron Glenn and Dan Campbell did a really good job. And I thought he missed some throws, But we act like this is the end of the Sam Donald's story. I think this is the perfect dress rehearsal. Now it takes two wins to get back to that level, to get back to playing the Lions in Detroit, But wouldn't you rather play poorly on the first try than on the second try.
I mean, Jared got threw two picks. It wasn't like he was perfect.
So and obviously the Lion's ability to run the football was paramount in their success. I am not bailing on Sam Darnald. I realize he's never been a perfect quarterback, and this has never been about whether or not he's like an MVP was the best. He went from being a guy who was seen as a bust looking like he'd be a perennial backup, to look like he's a solid starter. Now the question is can he win the playoffs with him? Challenges get deeper and better, but mine are still I mean, the Vikings are still good enough to get back to the NFC Championship game and then get another shot. You could call me crazy, plenty of people have, but that's one in which you chalk up to first game of that magnitude. Trying to prove yourself trying a bit too hard and the Lions puts you away late. He's right, he's got to be better. He's got to watch the tape. But it is not the end all be all.
It's just not.
And for a team like Minnesota and they now have to go on the road to take on the Rams, that's a challenge. They're favored on the road against the Rams. They win that game, and like, take a breath, and let's see what happens next. I mean, if you don't like Sam Donald because he was bad in that one big game, there's gonna be lots of quarterbacks you don't like because they're bad in a big game. Sam Donald has an entire season of success to fall back on. You may doubt it, you're allowed to. He threw for thirty five touchdowns, twelve interceptions, one hundred two point five quarterback rating forty three hundred yards. His team won fourteen games. Let's not overreact and kill ourselves over losing to a really good Lions team in which he didn't play well. All right, Stug Gottlieb Show, Fox Sports Radio. You know it's interesting, Dan, you and I we didn't make like a ton of predictions. But if I were going to tell you that the playoff teams for the AFC were the Chiefs, the Bills, the Ravens, the Texans, and the Steelers, I think all of us would go like, yeah, that seems about right.
I missed out on the Bengals. I didn't have the Steelers in there. I thought Cincinnati would make the playoffs, and.
I mean, you missed by one game, Dan, how dare you?
Yeah? I did not expect the effort from Pittsburgh. But I will say that I did think that the NFC North and the AFC North would be the toughest divisions in the NFL, and I think competitive wise and what we've seen, I think that's pretty accurate.
Yeah.
I mean, look, you look and AFC West. I should bring that one in as well.
Yeah.
Well, I would also say for the NFC West, Let's also remember the two divisions they crossed over against were the two winst divisions.
In the sport.
Sure, so NFC West, which was depleted the Niners, especially depleted by injury, NFC West and the AFC South, those are the two they crossed over against. So there's a reason that you had three teams with double digit wins. What's crazy is the Packers are zeroing. They're one and five in their own division and the one was a tipped field goal in Chicago. Now, they easily could have won all five of those other games, but the fact is they lost five in division is crazy.
Crazy.
But my point is more, you know, every year we talk about how surprising a lot of the outcomes are.
The AFC was pretty much.
What we thought, with the exception of probably the Chargers Chargers are probably and the Chargers in the Broncos. But again some of that who's who they crossed over against Chargers in Broncos and then the Angles being out of it.
Is that fair?
Yeah? Yeah. I had higher hopes for the Jets as well. They did. They did not cash in in the AFC East.
In the NFC, Lion's not a surprise Eagle, and look, I have said it all year. I was wrong. My only thing with the Lions was could they handle success? And they have Lions Eagles. Buccaneers. I don't even know if I had an opinion on the NSC South, to be honest, but the Buccaneers, I mean, it feels like they found their quarterback, they found their lane this is who they are. They're you know, eight to ten wins a year with Baker and obviously you know it looked bad when you lost both wide receivers rams. This is another Sean McVay special. Although, yeah, I think we'd all be honest and say that the niners collapse mostly due to injuries, is a big reason that they won their division.
Yeah.
With the the Niners, though, like, it's not all injury like it is, but it isn't because it's it's where and tear. Why those injuries happen. There did seem to be something different when even Brandon Ayuk was healthy because of his holdout and what was happening just a wacky.
Year with the forty nine ers. I don't think anybody expected that from San Francisco.
No, well that's fair, No, I don't think I No one expected it, especially considering you know what they did with Remember brand Ayuk holds out, he goes back, signs a big deal, gets hurt, and obviously you know, the injuries derailed them, and I would agree with you, it's not the only thing.
Yeah, because the Lions.
Look at the Lions, I mean, they're depleted just like anybody, and they're fifteen to two.
Yes, So yes, TJ.
Oshman's out of joint just FS one NFL analysts and foreign pro world wide receiver co host of Up on Game with LaVar Arrington plexco Burst. It airs each Saturday on Fox Sports Radio. You can find it wherever you find your podcast. With the playoffs now set, what's your biggest surprise of the regular season?
TJ?
They're surprises, But I will say when you look at the Commanders, I don't know many people that had them in the playoffs, and when you look at the Minnesota Vikings, I don't know, let alone in the playoffs. Like to go fourteen and three is remarkable that to me would be the biggest surprise of the teams making it. Obviously the Bengals not making it, especially when you have the leading sach getter and Trey Hendrickson, the leading receiver in Jamar Chase, leading pastor and Joe Burrow. Never been done before. And so those are my surprises.
The Bengals. Is it simply their defense?
Why did the Bengals have such I mean, they end up winning their last five to get in, But is it just as simple as their defense?
Dunk the defense didn't play well and so many of the game, Like you just look back Week one. Defense played well, it was against the Patriots. Offense played terrible, But fourth and seventeen game is won against the chief He's fourth and seventeen. The league average completing anything above fourth and fifteen and above is like twelve percent, Like you can't stop that. He scored thirty eight points against Steelers lose, scored thirty plus both times against the Ravens lose. And it just sucks because I think lou Ana Roumo is a really, really good coach. He just didn't have the players. You look at the Bengals roster and correct me if I'm wrong with is Trey Hendrickson the only guy on that team that would probably start on another team on that defense, He's probably the only one, And so it sucks for lou but he's he's in a tough business. Hopefully then they can figure this out, but you can't have what we have on offense. Hopefully it does not end up being, you know, a situation where it was myself, Chad and Carson and we can never really get into the playoffs because defensively we just couldn't get it done.
Do you think Aaron Rodgers has played his last game?
No, man, no way. Man. If I'm Arion Rogers, I'm not going out like that. Aaron Rodgers played good down the stretch. I'm giving it a go, whether it's with the Jets or somebody else. Nah. I really believe if Aaron Rodgers is to come back and play, he's going to be a better player than he was this year. So I'm gonna say no, the competitor and Aaron Rodgers is not going out like that, not at all.
Okay, Sam Donald struggles yesterday? Why in your opinion?
You know I equated to He didn't complete a great percentage. He just didn't play well. Missed a lot of throws justin Jefferson and Mzon that have been touchdowns. You know what, Doug get happen sometimes. You know, Jared Goff had a five interception game. You know its defense kept him in that game. It's so it happens. You Steph Curry will have a two for fifteen night. Not comparing them to Steph Curry is a great player. What I'm saying is there's just times you are not at your best, and it sucks that it was in a big moment to win the nut number one seed. But it does happen. Sam Donald's had a great, great year. Hopefully this will motivate him heading into this weekend's game against the Rounds. But it happens. Sam Donald played better than anybody thought he would play and have the Minnesota Vikings in position that nobody thought they would be in.
T Jes Just ben Zeder's our guest for a Pro Bow Pro Bowl wide receiver. You can hear him on up on Game Which Arizon weekends here on Fox Sports Radio. It's also available in podcast forms. Joined us here on the Doug Gottlig Show on Fox Sports Radio. What's your reaction to the coaching change just one year end in New England?
That's not fair. You know, you you replaced a legend in Bill Belichick, but that legend did terrible in his last couple of years. Like Bill Belichick won winning in New England. Do you have Jakobe Brissett start the first half full of games and then you bring in Drake Bay and he does pretty well? Like why even hired him? Man? If you just gonna give me one year, like, oh, this was the hardest decision of my life. It couldn't have been that hard you you fired him. I mean, he just didn't get a fair shake. It's just unfortunate, man, that this happens. And this really shows me why Ben Johnson is smart, because he's not just taking anything that's thrown at him. He's being selected and he's making sure that he makes the right decision with the right organization. Too many times, God's take these opportunities, Like everybody knew New England was gonna be god awful and they weren't, And so you fire them for what? Because everybody knew you guys were gonna suck, and you sucked. And so I don't get it. Maybe they feel like, oh, we want to hire Mike Brabel. This is gonna be our only time to get in. How you know, O. J. Mayo couldn't turn into a Mike Brabel. We will never know, but it sucks for him. But what can you do now?
What you can do.
Here on Fox Sports Radio? Of the jobs that are open, what's the best one?
I mean, off hand, you would probably say the Chicago Bears just off the talent they have on defense and offense, and after that the Jacksonville Jack Warris, I who say I don't know how they were so bad. Man Like, this is the best team we've ever had, It's the most talent we've ever acquired on the team. And to play like this, I don't know.
What gives.
But if I'm a if I'm a if I'm Ben Johnson, I'm going to Chicago. But I hear Ben Johnson wants his own general managers, so you know they could be on the same page, and I feel him on that. So if I'm the Chicago Bears, I got a decision to make. Do I want Ryn Fos or do I want Ben Johnson. I'm inclined to go with Ben Johnson personally.
Tjos Benzeo is our guest scurse for a Pro Bowl wide receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals. Doug Otlu show, you're on Fox Sports Radio, what would you do if you're the Niners with Brock Party.
Man, Doug, Honestly, I'm a I like Brock Party. I think I was one of the first guys that said Brock Party was a top twelve quarterback in the league when everybody was given all the other players around him the credit. But with that being said, Doug, I'm not giving brock Party a dollar more than forty three forty four million, Like I'm telling you, I'm not doing it, because when we needed him to kind of carry us for some games, he couldn't do it. He couldn't do it. And so he's a good player, but he's a good player when everything around him is also good. And when you got to give him sixty plus million, now you're in trouble. And so I believe brock Purty would take forty three forty four million. His agent won't take it because it makes his agent look bad. If his agent was actually looking out for Party, he would tell he would take it because he's gonna play there for ten years. You're gonna make almost half a billion dollars. But it makes his agent look bad. So his agent's going, nah, we're not gonna take this. But yeah, I'm giving him forty three forty four million. If he wants a dollar more, then you're just gonna play under what your contract is for next year franchise and then send you on your way.
Yeah, it's fascinating to see what they're able to do at what dollar amount. Remember they don't have to do anything this offseason. He still has a year left.
Doug, what would you give him on a yearly basis?
I wouldn't give him forty three?
You would not? No, Oh wow, I'm more generous than you are.
Okay, No, I would.
I would do a length of guarantee more than value of guarantee. I go, I go in the mid thirties, and I would go. You know, I'd be very happy to go three years guarant three years of guarantee, you know, somewhere in the hundred million dollars guaranteed over over talking.
Like Baker Baker, that's who he Baker.
No, it's it's much more than Geno, but in the in the Baker Mayfield type of that's who he is.
Right, he's an under Bakers.
Baker's under paid.
No, he's perfectly paid.
Look, you can't have those Those guys aren't good enough talent wise to carry without other stars around. Baker Mayfield perfect example, he got star wide receivers. You can't afford all these pieces.
His can't.
And oh yeah, by the way, as much as we can sit here and go like, I think Kirk Cousins is shot, but they could go get Kirk Cousins. We know that, we know that Shanahan loves him. Sam Darnold could come back. Hell, they could even go get Aaron Rodgers on the chief It's not like there's not other options for the Niners.
Yeah, but I think I think if you are, if you're giving mad thirties, I deem that somewhat disrespectful. That's what I would prefer to be at forty million. But you could twist my arm and I'd go to forty three. With Dak Prescott at sixty. I could go to forty three and feel like it's fair for both sides because I don't want him mad at the deal he signs. I want him to feel like we respect his ability. So I would want it at forty, but I'd be willing to go to forty three.
All right, Stug Gottlieb show here on Fox Sports Radio.
TJ.
Huschman Zada is our guest. Okay, look, the Chiefs are fifteen and two. Obviously I lost yesterday. Didn't play their start, most of their starters. Uh, is this the year that the Bills go to the Super Bowl?
Say that again, Doue?
Is this is this the year the Bills go to the Super Bowl?
Man?
My prie, So you know I'm gonna be honest with you, Doug. So I picked two teams that go to the Super Bowl, like two different sets. I had the line coming out the NFC in both of them had the Lions being those Lions Ravens, and so I really truly believe that the Ravens are gonna come out of the AFC. This version of Lamar Jackson is being remarkable. We haven't seen them run the ball and throw it like this ever, and so if they were to match up in the second round, which is very possible, the Ravens molly watched him. I mean, they destroyed the Bills in the regular season. Now I don't see why the playoffs would be any different. It's possible that the Bills can learn from that game and it just to make it more competitive. But I truly I see the Ravens coming out of the AFC. It's gonna be tough going to Kansas City, but this version of Lamar like it's it's hard to write the Chiefs off in the amount of Super Bowls Mahomes has been in and won, and his success and the layoffs, but I would Candeleen to the Ravens.
TJ just benzs our guest. He're on the Doug Gottlig Show on Fox Sports Radio. If it's not the Lions, who is it? In the NFC?
If it's not the Lions, I would probably go with the Vikings. Green Bay would have been in that mix as well. I just losing Christian Watson now to the ACL. We believe Jordan Love will be okay, but you just don't know, you know what exactly happened, and so I would probably say I'm going Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. But for sure, I believe I don't know how the Lions have done it. Man, you got all these injuries on the defensive side of the ball, like guys is getting hurt less or right, and you're still win it. Dan Campbell is the hell of a moer. That offensive system that they have installed is just clicking. With Ben Johnson, I don't see the Lions losing, but if they do, I'll take the Vikings, all right.
That's t J husband. Who's You're the best man?
Up on Game Is weekends on Fox Sports Radio, downloaded in podcast form as well.
Who's thanks so much, Doug.
I appreciate you, man, Take care man, keep up the great work, Buddy.

Doug Gotleib Show, Fox Sports Radio. Hey, welcome in.
It's Doug Gotlap Show here on Fox Sports Radio, Dan Buyer alongside with my man Jason Stewart.
Let's get to a game.
This is game time on the Doug Gottlieb Show.
Hey there, Dan, what's the game today?
The game today is who let the dogs out?
Who let the dogs out?
Deal?
Let the dog?
Just let the dogs out.
I did not let the dogs out. The dog is in and that's that's the issue there.
I think that's history.
I think it's the first time in the history of sports talk radio that a dog's voice has preceded the hope.
Not even on sub sit. Yeah that's right because.
Good dog, good dog. Yes, nice roof, nicely done.
All right, As you heard, the game is a big deal, little dealer no deal. Six scenarios Doug for you to weigh in on. And this is a big deal little deal or just deal, big deal, little dealer, no deal.
That Mike Rabel.
Reportedly interviewed with the Jets over the weekend to put pressure on the Patriots to make a move with your odd mayo.
Uh, that's a big deal.
Those from a D. D. Kinkob wallof CBS Sports.
Is really good.
I'm a fan since she used to simply just cover the Steelers. Now she works for all CBO sports, and I think she covered the Jets game. Right, there's where her knowledge is come from. Knowledge comes from. I think that's a big deal. Got to create leverage, you know, and if you ultimately want the Patriot's job, place you played, place you respected, and they already have a quarterback as opposed to the Jets, who most assuredly will be shopping for a new quarterback.
That's a that's a big deal.
As you guys talked about earlier of the signs, pointing to Mike Vrabel, not only would that make sense, it would make sense on two levels that you had someone in mind to make the move, first of all, and that that other person would have been another former Patriots player. It actually fits in that aspect where and that person has shown success in what they have done previously to allow this move to seem legitimate.
Sure, sure, big deal, A little deal.
Of no deal that the new York Giants made no changes after a three to fourteen season.
It feels like a little deal.
I know we all want to freak out about about what happened. Again, I believe that the look the long term gamble on the running back thing is a real thing. Like, let's see what happens with Saquon Barkley year two three with that deal. Also, remember they had to get out of that Daniel Jones contract. And if we're gonna say, hey, Brian Dabole didn't handle it well or whatever, they weren't that good. Like he's the one who kind of created Daniel Jones as a franchise caliber quarterback.
So they got to figure out the quarterback.
If you listen to John Merrier's comments, he has lost patience. Not he's losing patience. He has lost patience. But nothing reads hope like a new quarterback. So let's see what the Giants two in the off season.
Yeah, the quote from Merrill was quote better not take too long because I've just about run out of pace.
End quote.
And then he also said I'm going to have to be in a better mood this time next year. They picked third in the draft, coming up in late April in.
The Patriots don't need The Patriots don't need a they pick fourth quarterback, but they don't need a quarterback right now?
Would they pick fourth?
Right?
Right right?
It's Tennessee and Cleveland that's ahead of them, that's the problem.
And both need a quarterback, and by all accounts like there's you know, I know a lot of people are like I like shod Or Sanders, but not a great athlete, not a great arm, great quarterback brain. And then cam Ward I super talented, but can leave a lot to be desired as well.
So we'll see.
But there's also all those retread quarterbacks that are now going to be hot on the market because the retreads have done so well this year.
I mentioned the Jets earlier, Doug big deal, little deal or no deal? Is they search for a head coach? Big deal, little dealer, no old deal? That Rex Ryan will interview with the Jets about their head coaching vacancy tomorrow.
I think that's a big deal.
I do you know Rex obviously took them in two NFC AFC Championship games. He's a big name, he's a boastful guy. Whatever, he's a confident dude. I think it's a big deal though, to just even give him an interview, it validates his open desire to get the job back, and it definitely signifies their interest.
I also think people have completely forgotten about his Buffalo era, his tenure there when he was the head coach of the Bills.
Or how it ended with New York.
Right, Yeah, I mean it must have ended poorly.
Nod.
Yeah, yeah, it wasn't It wasn't great.
Yeah. Again.
Part of it comes from like what are they gonna do a GM? What is the whole plan? Who is their quarterback? There's like a lot of different working pieces to it, so I think, and most importantly, what do what do mister Johnson's sons think of the Madden rating of potential quarterback?
Apparently no truth to that, but I do think that it shows Woody Johnson and who they are and how they're running this team. I mean, are the Bears interviewing Mike Ditka? You know, like, I mean, what are we doing?
Wow?
Rix, Ryan's not gonna get the job?
I maybe Mini Ditka?
Possibly man, big deal, little deal of no deal that cults quarterback. Anthony Richardson is expected to be the team starting quarterback entering twenty twenty five.
That feels like a big deal.
It feels like a big deal, especially when there's repeated stories out of Indie about his work ethic or lack thereof, or professionalism or like thereof. His production hadn't been great, and you know, Shane Stykeing keeps his job. But I mean, I'm sure he kept his job with the idea of, hey, you can keep his job.
You got to fix that. It's like, oh boy, oh.
Boy, as John Merrath said, better not take too long because I've just an out of patients.
Also apropos right here.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
Big deal, little dealer, no deal, Doug.
The Green Bay Packers have lost wide receiver Christian Watson for the year to a torn ACL.
I felt like that was a big deal.
You know, it was one of those like in almost successive plays, Christian Watson goes down non contact. He was crying, pretty obvious that it was an ACL, and then then Jordan Love went down. Although Jordan Love was thrown later in the game before that last drive by the Packers, so I think he's gonna be fine. But Christian Watson super talented guy, and of the young players that signifies a dramatic loss, I think for the Packers in the playoffs, but more importantly going forward, what do they do with that young wide receiving corps? Who gets paid and who doesn't? Now Christian Watson, you know, going out with acl That probably changes the calculus a little bit.
Final one, Doug, big deal, Little dealer, no deal That Kawhi Leonard had twelve points and nineteen minutes in his season debut for the Clippers on Saturday.
I'm gonna say a little deal because the whole with Kawhi is not about can you play? It's about Kenny stay healthy and play.
And that's game time.
This is game time on the Doug Gottlieb Show.
Okay, fired, Here's where I'm screwed up. Here's where I'm screwed up. When is the next round of the College fall playoffs. It's not till Thursday, right.
