Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.

Every year on the Dom Giordano Program on Philadelphia's 1210WPHT, Dom awards his Local and National 'Person of the Year' to a regular guest for what they've done within the past year. This year, Dom will announce a Readin' Writin' Reason Person of the Year as well, a guest from our podcast who listeners deem the best guest from the last year. We will have three podcasts announcing two nominees each, with listeners voting for who should move on each week, narrowing down to a final three by the end of the year.

First, Dom nominates Joan Cullen, former President of the Pennridge School District and Keith Olbermann’s ‘Worst Person in the World.’ Cullen has become a regular on both Readin’, Writin’, and Reason and the Dom Giordano Program as she continues to push back against the infusion of hyper-progressive ideology into school curriculum, in doing so taking flak from the Left.

Then, Dom nominates Beth Ann Rossica, Executive Director of Back To School PA, who has also become a regular as she helps to get school board members with the correct priorities elected throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Rossica’s most impressive feat this year was a win she received in court, after she filed a petition against school board members in West Chester who refused to justify incredibly overbearing pandemic policies in their district.
