Dom welcomes Colonel Allen B. West into the Dom Giordano Program to gather his thoughts, as a lauded military expert, on the failings of the United States Secret Service during the attempt on Donald Trump’s life. First, West offers his analysis on the decision to not place a sniper on the roof that the assassin used, telling that there’s absolutely no reason for there not to be somebody posted there with the direct line of sight to Trump. Then, West wears his hat as a former Congressman, offering why he doesn’t think there’s a planned conspiracy here, but rather an abject failure by the Secret Service. Finally, West, who’s faced unfair criticism for comments taken out of context in the past, offers his thoughts on the refusal for the media to hold themselves accountable for their inflammatory rhetoric in the past.
